Write literally every single item down, and assign a value to it. Say that if one of you want to keep an item, they pay the other person half the value. Everything else is bagged, curbed, and taken away next garbage pickup.

If she is being shitty -Negotiate everything. Start high. Have some plans of what you want to take and use her demands as leverage.

Don’t sweat the little stuff.

You can divide the items into 2 lists of items and allow her to pick one list. Or she can make 2 lists and then allow you to pick which one you want.

Even after picking you can barter individual items.

If anyone wants to keep the item - they have to buy out the other person's value..

For me I didn't give a crap about the chattels ..that's what items from the home are called

Just buy new stuff , the fight is ego and a sense on control....This is not time to spend 2k on legal fees for a $500 item.
