Yes it wasn't a success but that doesn't mean that YOU are a failure.

 

You know in battles\wars.......sometimes countries are just out manned and out numbered in various ways.

Does that mean that the losing country is a failure? Hardly. Yes they lost.

It's hard to say that every general that lost a battle is a failure though.

 

And that brings me to the point. Just because you aren't with your ex anymore this doesn't define your worth. If you have children you get to do your best to be the best dad you can be. You get a reset. Yes after the dust settles and you have been curled in a ball on the floor in pain.....you get to rise again. You get to set goals and work on you.

This experience doesn't make you a failure. It gives you an opportunity to grow and learn. At least it should.

Take inventory. Set goals for yourself. Get to the point where you can look in the mirror and smile at yourself. You like what you see and keep going and working to become better.

 

You are not a failure because your marriage didn't work out.
