Hello fellas just sending some hope and encouragement from the other side.

It's true.....it does get better. How and when that happens varies from man to man. However, if you set some realistic goals for your life in this process I can guarantee you success and joy.

 

At 48 and three years removed from the finalization.

  • I'm healthier than ever in my life.

  • I'm mentally sharp and really flourishing socially and inwardly.

  • I'm physically stronger than ever.

  • I'm emotionally stable and have peace like never before.

  • I'm more financially stable than I've ever been in my life.

  • Lastly, and most importantly, I really like the man staring back at me in the mirror. I know him. I love him and who he's become. I smile at him multiple times a day. Genuinely.

These things I've listed came over a process of 9 years. The first few walking out being betrayed. Then leading into another few of divorce while taking care of a newborn. It has been no cake walk. No easy time. It's been climbing Mt Everest and K2 and back. I made up my mind I would not go around these things. Dammit I am going to climb this mother till I summit. And summting I am.

 

I can promise you this. That if you write out some goals. Write out what you would like to achieve in the midst of some of the hardest things you'll encounter in this time. If you really get them down. Really focus on some immediate\intermediate and long term goals. Nothing will be left out at the end.

You too will be happy, healthy, and settled. It will cost you all that you have. Best of all? Hopefully your story will be shared like I am and it will be far greater than mine. At 48 I feel like I'm just getting started at life. And now I get to kick some real ass in life for the next 25-30 years.

While it's been some of the hardest years in my life.......they now are the most rewarding on the other side.

Hang in there fellas. When it gets really hard and dark......think to yourself. Another day. I can make it another day. Focus on today and do your best today.

I promise you with all that is in me......if I can do this.....you too can do it and more.
