Really sad story. My divorce was super brutal. She went full blown playbook. False allegations. Restraining order. All that crap. I did everything I had to do. Spent 70k to do it. I got support from guys here and was able to pull through. Eventually settled and got 50/50. Coparenting has been chaotic but I basically just stuck to myself and didn’t think about her anymore than I had to do.

And now she’s on a self destructive downward spiral that makes me sick to my stomach. She put my daughter in a risky situation during a mental breakdown. Cops called. My daughter was lucky to be okay. Then she’s sent to hospital and checked into a psych place. I of course have to Portect my daughter so I file a motion and get emergency full custody.

You’d think that’s the bottom right? Nope. She’s spiraling. Completely delusional in her messaging to me. Pushed away everyone that ever cared about her. Refuses help from anyone.

There were days when I was at terrible lows in the divorce. Scared I would lose my daughter and afraid of what would happen to her if she was at her moms (who was clearly mentally sick even back then). But back then, everyone believed her and nobody believed me. She said I was abusive and people took her work. So I was depressed and desperate. In those moments I sometimes thought about what it would be like if she had to suffer the way I suffered. Moments I was so sick by what she had done to me that I wished she had to suffer because of what she had done. At least see her acknowledge that she was wrong or something.

But seeing her throw her life away now is hard. I didn’t want this. Incredibly sad story. Every single day she buries herself deeper. There is no bottom. It’s horrifying.

So, if you’re in the middle of a ridiculous divorce with false allegations and a crazy STBXW keep this story in mind. You may very well find yourself a full time dad. And thanks everyone for being here for each-other. The pain is immense but we are not alone in it.
