Lately i’ve been struggling with really complicated feelings. I’m still in love with my (21F) ex (24M) we tried to rekindle things but we still weren’t totally on the same page so parted amicably. He loves me and I love him but I don’t think I can be with him until he’s able to sort himself out and I made this clear to him. I trust that he will figure out how to get to that place soon enough.

I’m not ready to give my body to another man and I’m not interested in sleeping with another man that isn’t him, like ever again and I told him this. I feel like my body is just for him and to be intimate with another man who is not him, it feels wrong? I don’t know why. I never felt this way about my relationships in the past when they ended but sex with him was very special to me and I can’t imagine experiencing that with another man. I know it all sounds silly but this is how I feel and he told me the same thing, that his body is just for me. I believe and trust that he won’t sleep with another woman.

I want to try to date again, to pass time, to get my mind off him and also just to go out and meet new people and maybe potentially make new friendships for now. I have been asked for my number quite a few times this week and I’m not interested in these guys but I’m open to going out with them.

So yeah, Is it wrong to do this? To go out with guys who ask me out with no intention of pursuing anything, serious or casual, with them even if I’m honest from the beginning?

And I hope this doesn’t come off rude because it’s not my intention but I’m not really looking for specific relationship advice concerning my ex but instead just want to know if going on dates just for fun is wrong/unfair.
