Can we start with the phony friends who claim women who were never romantically or sexually attracted "friendzoned them", when in fact those orbiters pretended platonic friendship while orbiting and monopolizing all her time and criticizing other men in an attempt to shame her and undermine her confidence and autonomy?

If not them, how about the "nice guys" who perform favors while expecting to be repaid in romantic or sexual gratitude instead of the friendship they pretended to want?

It was wrong of me to say I hate poor minorities. I meant I hate Poor Minorities! Poor Minorities is a category I made up that includes only poor minorities who complain about poverty or racism.

No, wait! I can be even more charitable! A poor minority is only a Poor Minority if their compaints about poverty and racism come from a sense of entitlement. Which I get to decide after listening to them for two seconds. And If they don’t realize that they’re doing something wrong, then they’re automatically a Poor Minority.

He’s been married five times and had multiple extra-marital affairs and pre-marital partners, many of whom were well aware of his past domestic violence convictions and knew exactly what they were getting into. Meanwhile, here I was, twenty-five years old, never been on a date in my life..., tried my best never to be mean to anyone, pursued a productive career, worked hard to help all of my friends. I didn’t think I deserved to have the prettiest girl in school prostrate herself at my feet. But I did think I deserved to not be doing worse than Henry.

My understanding is that the "nice guy" hate is for those who aren't actually nice. There are 3 types of (chronically single) nice guys.

First, the dudes who claim to be nice because they have never abused a woman before, when in reality they would if given the chance. Often they have red flags, they just don't realize it.

Second, the dudes who try to use niceness to generate attraction. Sometimes they get bitter when it doesn't work, and things take a turn for the worse.

Third, dudes who are actually nice, chill dudes but are single for other reasons. These are the dudes who the first two types claim to be. These guys do exist, and it'd be nice if they were given a chance, but they need to improve in other areas, otherwise any women they end up with will get bored.

Betrayal is one of the most deeply held disgust in the human psyche, in many cases worse than actual overt wickedness (for non dating examples witness how whistleblowers are often treated by anyone who's relevant).

Don't get me wrong.

I understand why "nice guys" are disliked but my God...is it so exaggerated by women on this forum.

I have an eerie feeling that this might be an OLD phenomenon though.

Realistically, if an unattractive and socially awkward man was good enough to be a woman's platonic friend, he likely isn't all that evil or misogynistic to begin with.

Think about it. The whole "nice guy" narrative usually centers around a woman's less attractive male friend who listens to her talk to him or text him about her relationship woes with a "toxic" boyfriend and the guy starts to feel disillusioned about why the girl is complaining about the boyfriend and not giving him a chance. And then the nice guy feels "friendzoned" and eventually acts desperate or frustrated when the woman rejects him for a relationship while choosing to stay with the bf she described as "toxic."

Now, is the nice guy in this scenario in the wrong? Absolutely! No one is entitled to a relationship. I agree with the Blue Pill on that. It's a supply and demand market.

Where I diverge is thinking that these misguided goofballs are the epitome of misogyny and abuse towards women.

You have to take it with a grain of salt when women take a group of men who are at the bottom of the barrel of the male desirability hierarchy(broke men, socially awkward men, short men, virgin men, autistic men, gamers, etc.) and present them as the biggest misogynistic threat to women in contrast to rich men, charismatic men, tall men, experienced men, NT men, and athletes.

It's a huge cope similar to how men will often claim that fat and ugly cat ladies over 35 are the biggest misandrists or man haters while conveniently overlooking the young and attractive sorority girls engaging in radical feminism.

Chances are the "nice guy" is just as shit as an asshole he just is not hot enough to be honest about it, which makes him a slimy fuck and women sense this thing on a biological level. This is 95% of men. This is also 95% of women, but you are the one who is complaining, but I am also fine with making it gender neutral.

So, most people are not good musicians, good artists or good dancers. If somebody claims they are a good anything, we usually ask for a body of work that backs up their statements. For example, if you are a good artist, but your portfolio is shit or non-existent and you never went to art school, we have no problem labeling you a bad artist because being good requires consistent practice. I am a shit musician and a shit dancer because I never consciously worked on my craft.

For some reason, when people claim to be good people this logic suddenly breaks down and every loser who did not commit genocide suddenly feels like they are allowed to adopt the identity of a "nice guy" and think it's up to others to disprove it as oppose to them proving it. What is it that these nice men do, did they volunteer at the fucking soup kitchen without posting it on their Tinder bio? Did they adopt puppies from dog shelter?

Your base assumption is incorrect. We don’t live in a patriarchy. A patriarchy is a system where only men have a say in governance and in which women are excluded and where men typically use their power of rule to oppress women.

Women can run for any political office. Not only do women have equal voting rights but there are more eligible women voters than men. Women aren’t excluded. Women aren’t oppressed, rather government has passed many laws favoring women.

Get that patriarchy nonsense out of your head and out of any premise. We can’t answer a question based on a false premise.

Most nice guys are acting in a way to get something.

Assholes get more women because they don't care that much.

If I was asshole and attract woman, what kind of woman is that? I'm not seeking shallow woman. A lot of men, me included, seek love. And in these women you won't find much love. Sex is nice but it will left you empty if you ultimately seek connection.
