Me, I’m one of the og ones from the late 2000s and early 2010s. I was really vocel though because I never even attempted dating and meeting women because I thought what’s the point? I’d just fail.

It was really hard to. They put so much emphasis on physicality that its dumb. Knowing your issue is having a bad personality and not being able to connect with people normally for some reason made me a volcel.

I was pretty close although never directly identified as such. But I would lurk /r9k/ on 4chan, which was a doomer forum for incels. I was much more invested in the red pill though. But as years went on and I became disillusioned with the red pill, I think at times I did internalize some incel concepts like “lie down and rot.” After losing hope it can be hard to recover, and so some will go in the opposite direction and convince themselves they cannot succeed or recover.

I dont fit the appearance of an incel, i'am tall and get complimented from my looks but i'am involuntary celibate because of social anxiety and other mental and personal issues. So I guess I fit nowhere even in the incel subculture
