I think that incremental reciprocity will be your friend here. When he does things that wow you, or that make you feel like he cares, or when he shows you what kind of partner he plans to be to you, this is a great opportunity to be warm, grateful, and affectionate, and to do things for him in kind.

As he steps up and does more of these things (and because you give him positive feedback when he does, he should want to do them more) then you can add more of the submissive/deferential/caretaking aspect of your appreciation into it, progressing as you go along. In this way, since he is “taking the lead” in progressing things (and you’re just responding in kind) then he is, in effect, “winning you over”.

You can also verbally highlight some of these qualities in a playful manner. I.e., “you know, I wasn’t sure about this date idea to be honest, but I’m glad I trusted you - this was a lot of fun!” IMO, referencing a past point is a good way to show that he’s “conquered” you a bit, without you having to “put up a fight” or make him chase you necessarily. Like the example above, or “when you told me X, I was surprised/didn’t agree/thought you were crazy, but now I….”

I know you said no chasing lol, but depending on how playful and/or physical your relationship is, you could actually make him physically chase you! In a fun, “come get me!” kinda way. Like grabbing the remote before you watch a movie and saying “oops, guess you’ll have to catch me first!” And then when he catches you, give him a big kiss.

Lastly, most men LOVE being called a gentleman. Especially after they’ve done something for you. It also implies that he’s done something chivalrous or manly too, so it could help feed into the vibe you’re trying to create.

no chasing in this relationship

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by conquering but to make him feel like a hero you could buy some furniture and ask him for help building it! I’m sure you could do with a new bookcase or side table lol. Or if he’s handy and there’s something broken around the house ask him if he could fix it.

For a man to win a woman's heart, there needs to be a challenge for him. He shouldn't take it for granted that "We aren't official yet although we are definitely going to be. I think he's waiting for the right time to ask me to be his girlfriend etc ".

Don't accept his offer immediately, as though you're afraid to lose him if you don't give in to his request or any pressure or guilt from him to decide right away, until he passes enough tests to PROVE his devotion to you, and his suitability to be a good partner over the long term (through ups AND downs, "in sickness and in health"). If it's too easy for him, he won't value the relationship as much as if he had to WORK HARD to earn your trust and acceptance.

Figure out what qualities you need in a partner to feel confident in the LONG TERM (not just right now), and be patient to let him prove to you that he has those qualities.

Even if you decide to date exclusively, that's just a LIMITED OPPORTUNITY for him to prove himself. I'd suggest not giving him your heart ("falling in love") or signaling that you definitely choose him over anyone else to be in your future for at least 6 months to a year after starting a relationship, to make sure you really know his character well and aren't being fooled by his initial charm. With the test of time, he'll respect and value you much more if he knows you didn't "fall for him" right away.

We aren't official yet although we are definitely going to be. I think he's waiting for the right time to ask me to be his girlfriend etc

Our relationship is very healthy and balanced, however I want to do something extra to make him feel like a real man who conquered his woman.

This not in a "chasing" way, more in a hero kinda way. Like I want him to feel he is fully in in masculine energy and that he won me over by being mainly.

Imagine a prince - princess dynamic where the prince has to court the princess to be chosen.

As I said we are very balanced and honest with each other, so I'm not trying to manipulate or acting completely different to be chased, there's no chasing in this relationship.
