I can vouch for Illinois... Despite how progressive the voting bloc is in Chicago and the suburbs, the custody and child support laws are woefully outdated and far behind other states. Sadly, recent attempts to push for 50/50 parenting time as law have been fought and defeated by (take a wild guess) the family lawyer lobby.

Oh, and they're working HARD these days, son, it's ridiculous.

We have a nice property in the deep south, what you might call a "super white" neighborhood (go fuck yourselves, you know goddamn well what I mean), and while my wife is in China tending to the household there, and I await her arrival for the Winter season, I tend to the landscape and do manly shit and what not.
