Served my STBX with papers this week.

I met with my financial planner and was informed that she was taking me to the cleaners. When I told my attorney how much I gave her each month, he called me crazy.

We have been separated for nearly 18 months and the first draft of a settlement was sent in march. She honestly seemed surprised that she was served.

My desire to “not be that guy” has probably cost me $15k to $20k. What an idiot. Don’t be me. Set boundaries and don’t be concerned about what someone you’re trying to cut ties with thinks.
