Ya it’s not.

Was at a Pierre Bourne concert with my girl.

And there was this girl in front of us (she was by herself) and was approached by one guy after another.

And seemed annoyed, and was just trying to watch the performance. Felt bad for her tbh.

It was also kinda awkward when these guys would approach her with drinks….

No shit! Just as if people came to concerts to enjoy the show instead of wanting to meet new people. Crazy!

What I’d do is to is to dance and have great fun in proximity of an attractive girl, and only approach her after the show is over. (Or in between sets)

Also if you choose small local bands, there will be much more people who came to socialise.

Do it before the main event when there is a DJ or artist doing the opening.

I know a good amount of people that met their partners on concerts.

It’s a mixed bag depends on the artist, venue and all sorts of variables. In general though it’s way too loud to meet people at concerts

Mmm I disagree - but I love concerts and go by myself regularly. Don’t talk to me while I’m dancing/grooving/the band is on. But if I’m in line for merch or grabbing a beer at the bar? Absolutely! Waiting in line for anything really is probably your best bet for a convo bc everyone is bored and friendly banter is a nice distraction. Some of the more memorable lines I’ve received have been 1) comments on the band shirt I’m wearing (like if it’s a shirt from a tour or another band - please don’t compliment my shirt if it’s just a basic tee bc I’ll immediately assume you’re really complimenting my chest..) 2) I took a break from dancing to grab a beer and a guy who was waiting in line with said something along the lines of “hey I saw you out there rocking it. You got some moves!” When he found out I was there by myself he invited me to join him and his friends. 3) leaving the venue I was chatting with some people about the show/set list. They were heading to another bar down the street and asked if I wanted to join (mind you it was walking distance from venue, if it had required me driving to continue our convo I probably would have said no..)

I’ve met girls at concerts, but not when they’re dancing in the crowd. If there are drinks being served at a bar I just get in line beside an attractive girl and start talking to her. If you’re hitting it off, ask her to dance.

This wouldn’t be at a big performance like The Weekend, I’d do this at a local bands concert or an EDM venue or something.

I would suggest a better way would be to build rapport initially by introducing yourself and talk about the artist and the environment. Have fun at the concert and then ask her out after it's over.

On the other hand if you feel the vibe during the concert you could go in with being a little physical due to proximity and go in for a kiss. Your energy/vibe has to be right. Don't approach for the sole reason that she's cute.

Works better for me when I go to concerts for some of the niche artists I listen to. Going to an Ed Sheeran concert to form a connection is pretty useless (for me) , nothing unique about it.

I don't fully agree with this sentiment. I think it depends multiple variables, one being the type of person you are. My buddy has told me stories about how he has gone to festivals by himself and ended up meeting women, his lady girlfriend he met at a festival he went to by himself. I've gone to a concert with him and met women and gotten a number once. He's able to go and have fun by himself without the objective of meeting a woman for a relationship goal or any goal for that matter. Plus he likes to go out, meet new people, etc. And sometimes for him the women that he meets end up liking him. It's pretty much his vibe and his looks that work for him. And I suppose it depends on the type of concert too.

If you want to meet women......You can place yourself in environments where it is likely that you will meet someone, like a bar, concert, etc. But I've found that when I have the feeling that i WANT to meet a woman (almost need) it doesn't work out. Kind of hard to explain. Go to places where you can meet someone, don't be afraid to initiate (because as the man majority of the time you will unless you encounter a girl who likes your look so much that she makes it extremely clear in her behavior), but then don't have the express purpose of getting laid. Although maybe some people can go out with that purpose and have it happen for them. Idk it depends on you and what you figure out for yourself

Totally depends on who's playing and the vibe, but I've had some success at concerts. Sometimes I'm just really feeling the music and a girl happens to be right near me and we just start dancing together. It certainly helps if you're into the music, too, because you'll likely be in a good state and that will carry over to your mood and confidence etc.

Game at concerts is different from traditional approach in that you often don't need to say anything at all, it's more eye contact, smile, dance, high five, etc. Just don't try to force it... if a girl's not interested she's not interested. I'd look for IOI's first or else -- to your point -- you risk interrupting someone's experience with their favorite band, and that can get ugly.

The type of music makes a big difference in the vibe. EDM and other danceable beats ( reggae, disco, rap like Lizzo , music you that makes people tap their feet). Most popular music doesn't make people dance.

You have to meet them before the show. Build on the anticipation. Then you can enjoy the show together.

It's possible to meet them after the show but most people just want to go home.

If drunk, venue volume doesn’t matter. You can meet people. The drunker the better.

If sober, you must be in a place where you can clearly hear the other person speak and they can hear you.

I don’t drink so gimme a popular coffee shop with some friends over a Metallica reunion concert any day lol
