Probably a bit of both. You can be genuine and vulnerable without being needy and weak. It's about how you respond to adversity. Do you rise to challenges or complain and make excuses?

You don't need to play games, you just need to have more social intelligence. Being sweet, vulnerable and honest about your feelings with people too soon is a lot for people to handle. You need to go into social interactions with tact and use social awareness to know when to open up that way.

Dude you can be honest and open as a man but understand that women want to be with someone who's got it "figured out" or at least has the resources to do so. It's fine if you've gone through some shit but you need to demonstrate you conquer and thrive in adversity. At the very least, you can act with bravery in the face of uncertainty. If you want a woman to act like a surrogate mommy they will smell that shit a mile away and they're not going to be willing to change your diapers for you

It's not playing games to act properly. A majority of men, and it's getting worse, are raised and treated like little girls. So acting in a masculine attractive manner seems fake to them. It's psychological bias that people in general want they can't have or can't have properly.

like if she's in constant fear of losing you & you wrap her brain up around that subject , she totally loses the power of thinking about other stuff ( like thinking : this guy is just abusing me , why am i trying too hard to stay with him ? ) and soon as you shift the focus , she may lose interest in you because now logic comes & take over emotions.

But to use these tactics & keep being successful , you need to know 2 things :

1-If There's no demand=tactics can't be applied. Nokia cannot market an overpriced phone no matter what , but apple does it all the time . there's a demand & the audience for that . so make sure U create demand first . can't just say hi to a woman on the street & start playing with her right away .

2-Every woman will be obsessed like this , no such thing as different woman , but for YOU , some of them stay & some of them leave asap. just like every woman may take it anal some day , some woman will reject a rich guy to take it from a hippie & some woman reject the young game practitioner to take it from 50 y.o entrepreneur . don't be obsessed with doing it on one particular girl , go find the ones that are there for U and let you do it.
