It will most likely decrease your chances if you don't develop your other aspects. There are a few women that prefer bald dudes. You can grow a beard and get jacked. I am bald at 32 and started shaving just 2 years ago. I am not jacked and I can only grow stubble. I'd say women pay more attention to me because I socialize more and have started giving less shit about anything. If I was as timid as 6 years ago, I'd say baldness would make it worse.

I started losing my hair around 18 (I’m nearing 40 now). I wasted a lot of money in my 20s on creams, shampoos, and other bullshit that claimed to “invigorate hair follicles” that never worked. The only two things proven to work are minoxidil (Rogaine) and finasteride (Propecia). Rogaine stops working if you stop using it, and propecia can fuck up your libido, so that was an automatic no from me. So I basically spent my 20s wearing baseball caps and freaking out if the wind blew it off or if it fell off or whatever else.

I finally shaved my head when I was around 30. At first it was weird, but I got used to it. It actually increased my confidence, knowing that I’m walking around bald and not caring what people think. Women pick up on that stuff, and I started getting more female attention. Then I started lifting weights and grew out my beard, and now I get more female attention than when I had hair.

It’s true that generally, women find men with hair more attractive than bald men, but bald men are also seen as more dominant and masculine. One thing women find completely unattractive is balding men. Don’t be that guy with the thinning hair or combover. Either use Rogaine/get a transplant, or shave it all off.

I have been going on more dates since being bald and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it lol. I've been told I was hot and I hadn't heard that in awhile.

Being bald is like so shocking to some people for some reason. When you go for it, and rock it with confidence. You earn people's respect.

But, don't slack on your style, accessories, and hygiene. (Shape your eyebrows and beards fellas! No straggly stringy pube hairs. Women notice that shit. They have like 5 different lotions and moisturizers they use daily)

I recently photographed a bald guy who scored a 9.7/10 on attractiveness on Photofeeler. Meaning women rated him in the top 3% of men.

So I don't think bold matters that much one way or the other. If women absolutely hated bold men, then male pattern baldness would not exist as evolution would have eliminated the trait at some point.

I do think head shape and beard growth / style matters. I also think being a bit muscular is hugely beneficial for bald guys. Looking thin, weak, pale, and bald makes you look like a cancer patient. Get a tan and pack on some muscle and boom. You're the the Rock

Its been studied. Bald men are seen as less attractive but more dominant, intelligent and look taller. Picture your self as a video game character. You are not loosing or gaining any points just shifting them around a bit.

If it helps at all: as a woman, it doesn’t bother me. Never cared much about hair. I like people for who they are, not for things they can’t change and have no control over like hair colour, length, amount or whatever else.

Depends on head shape alot I bet.

I had a buzz cut once by accident and it looked pretty good from I'm told.

Some people though have oddly shaped heads and it doesn't work as well.

Here's the thing. If you let going bald get into your head that will reflect in your body language and how you carry yourself, at least a little. Maybe alot depending on you.

The solution is to build confidence around it by getting girls to chase you even with your baldness. Then you no longer are in your head about it and its not relevant. Then, you radiate confidence. Inner confidence is the thing you have control over, so focus on that. Women are mostly attracted to male behavior, so get your mind in a great place and it won't be a factor at all.

A clean shave bald head can look more attractive than a monk cut or a japanese topknot (a matter of culture). Do you think the Rock would've been doing so well if he just kept the sides of his hair?
