The goal of the makers of the app is to keep you engaged. They have advertisement based and subscription based revenue models therefore more engagement = more revenue. If you keep getting matches even if you don't get responses it keeps your hope alive and keeps you on the app. The app makers know this. Their goal is to keep you in the apps for the rest of your life and that you never find a "life partner".

Get off the apps. Meet people in real life.

To be honest Tinder is the worst place to look for solid women with solid personalities.

Get off of it and go outside to develop your own game how to talk to women.

The problem is that Tinder and Social media created this fake fascade for women to show off, They like the way how these sites are made because it gave them opportunity to not make an effort and yet still someone to give them value.

But value of the person only increases if the person actually makes an effort on building those values so they only build Fake ass shitty Ego based on their past matches or guys that texted them and tried to hook them for a date.

Don't fall for the game , they want you to be hung up like a down bad simp cause women love attention . But they also love to play games while texting, Not responding for few hours, posting stories , posts - only so they can see your reaction but only if you are in the line or else it's not meant for you.

Dating Apps are superficial, everything can be "Planned" but that's impossible in a real world,
If you really want to meet someone new, I surely recommend of deleting the App and go outside.

You expect too much from the app, it’s complete strangers behind the phone… The conversion rate of matches to dates will make you question if it’s worth it.

That said, I’ve had over 100 dates since mid 2019 and probably only talked with like 25% of my matches. It’s a numbers game and it tires you real quick, so I had to take several breaks from it and just spend time with existing FWBs.

But yes, it used to be better before the pandemic and significantly better like 5-6 years ago from what I’ve heard.

I've said every generic hookup pickup line in the book, it's worked about once. I do what all the "guides" say and comment about their photos, blah blah blah, nothing seems to work.

For me, the best strategy is avoiding all the high effort stuff. The dating apps are mostly a numbers game, and you'll burn out if you give every woman high effort. I usually open with something simple like "Hey [name] how's your week going?". If a woman doesn't respond to something like that, or gives a 1-2 word answer, than she's not really interested. Unmatch. It's a simple filter technique that saves me a lot of time and effort.

I'm an older married guy, but I enjoy reading posts from the younger set. I find a number of things shared very interesting, odd but interesting. I believed at one time (which I'm sure many older people do) that I have at least a general idea of how things work with young people. I realize that many of the posts that I read are a microcosm of society in general, but if these posts that I read are accurate, I really didn't have much of a clue. Meeting people is impacted by a number of factors, logistics, geography, socioeconomic standing etc. Given the emergence of social media, this process has changed dramatically. Put an app on your phone, post a pic, a few words......bam you're hooking up! A common thread I recognize from reading posts, is that guys are really looking for easy peasy convenient. Think about this, fast food is fast, easy and convenient, those are reasons that most of it is tasteless and bad for you. People we're meeting and getting together looooooong before the internet.

I haven’t read through all the responses, but I would stop with the canned pickup lines. Just comment on a picture or ask questions about a similar hobby or interest then you can share where your passion comes from. You’ll appear multi dimensional and you can present all the stuff you’re into.

Tinder has gone full-on scam central now, just switch to another app, but be careful the other apps are trying to pull the same shit, tinder tries to gaslight you to keep swiping so they get ad revenue and try to trick you into a platinum subscription with fake likes, better to just disengage and try another platform
