I'm seeing a huge problem with this community compared to when PUA used to be great.

I'm 100% NOT saying it doesn't work. Just making that clear for all the technical connoisseurs on here.

Mini cold reads, push-pulls, establishing a narrative, misinterpretation and other gimmicks can work BEAUTIFULLY if executed right.

But you will always and I mean always be trapped into this frame of doing something to emotionally spike the girl, doing something that conveys you're high value, doing something that impresses the girl, etc. Instead of the major thing you should be focusing on: Being instead of doing

Being an attractive guy according to your own standards and values. being self-amused and not trying to impress, being completely comfortable with yourself, being ok with saying whatever to the girl because you believe whatever you say is high value because it comes from you. Being able to pull the girl into your own reality rather trying to fit into hers.

I used to try to find the perfect thing to say, the perfect rebuttal to what the girl is telling me so I can appear high value. Making sure I'm not saying anything to make me look lower on the social status pole. And all of this. All of this is this sad fucking excuse of looking like you're the man but not actually being the man. Not actually being comfortable with the girl because you're trying to put on this act of being something you're not.

Believe me, I've gotten in a lot of shitty situations where girls were attracted to me but no chemistry was established. It was just attraction and the relationships felt empty and I was never comfortable with myself. I was only comfortable on what I could do, to be able to build attraction.

Be comfortable being completely and authentically you. I'm not saying be comfortable being a loser. However, if being a loser is something you truly resonate with and are happy with, there will still be girls that come into your life. We see it time and time again.

A lot people will say "If you use the techniques long enough, they become engrained." I call bullshit. I've done technique for 2 years and sure you get better at it. But you're still always in your head. You're viewing interactions as a chess move or game, thinking how to strategize the best approach instead of being there.

Be there and be you.
