....the girl should be thinking she is winning you over, and she should be scared if you leave her and etc.

There are all kinds of relationships that we can have. Some are based on fear, certainly. Others are not.

You can certainly aim for something where the girl feels off balance enough where she is constantly needing to feel like she's winning the guy over.

A lot of things can "work."

The problem is that this way of doing things has side effects.

If one is putting their energy into doing things that would make a girl feel scared that he'll leave (dread game, etc.) or making herself balance that she's constantly needing to prove herself and when the guy over, then that's energy not being spent making oneself better so that she doesn't want to leave.
Doing those things makes her emotionally unstable which is not the best game to play.
Since you're involved with her, like it or not, she'll drag you down if she's being pulled down.

The question is what kind of interactions and people you want in your life.

Sure. Just keep in mind that value is not set in stone. We don't have a value meters flying above our heads, so you should work both on your actual self development as well as how are you perceived by others. Also meet different girls -999 may reject you but the remaining 1 will think you are perfect (because you resemble her dad xd).

You see a lot of bumasses dating bombshell women. As a bartender, I see a lot of “low value” men dating primo women. I also see a lot of women hook up with any decent looking guy with competent conversational skills, may or may not be “high value”. I don’t really agree with the “only” part. I see too much of the contrast to agree lol

I dont think thats an unpopular opinion but more of a fact. Some examples, women dont date down, women want a guy who makes more than they do, they want a high value man. A lot of working on yourself is making yourself higher value.

It works much better when you know your own value (which is another way to talk about confidence) and you are just yourself.

Talking about hookup like if they were some mystical goal is the worst mindset to seek any success.

Value, or SMV (sexual market value) or earning power value or relative value in personality traits is very subjective.

When talking to an interested woman I think the dynamic is more need based (desire).

The partner with the greatest need is at a disadvantage in negotiation. So, instead of trying to understand value, try and understand relative needs. Which for me is a lot easier to do.

As a woman I can tell you that’s not the case, maybe for some but no one I know that’s sane in the head thinks like that.

I don’t want to sound like an asshat but I think you need therapy if you genuinely believe this because this is not a healthy mindset to have.
