Everyone has different standards about what they consider attractive. In general, it’s a mix of details:

confidence (how much you feel comfortable, not afraid to be vulnerable, etc)
look: pretty subjective. Not every girl likes a jacked one and ignores a skinny (or fat) dude. Also, confidence acts like a multiplier for your look. I’ve been with women that admitted they would have never dated someone with my look (I’m average, slim body, no beard, definitely not a male model), except they were turned on by me.
grooming: doing gym to feel better, hygiene, fitting clothes, cologne are minimal viable requirements for yourself.
wit/humor: being able to handle a conversation, teasing, words choice, jokes make the interaction smoother than you might think
calibration/empathy: if you show you’re able to “read” her, summed to the above points , will give you the keys to her (don’t be surprised if they say: “OMG! How the fuck are you knowing me so better!”)

These are my 2cents, without pretending to have covered any aspect.

A lot of people are going deep into the weeds, but there's a simple answer that's not just "be attractive."

Being seductive is action of understanding a vibe, and steadily evolving that vibe until both parties are thoroughly grooving in that vibe.

It's simple social economics.

What makes someone seductive is first, the ability to feel good in your own body and sexuality. Second, it's the ability to project those good feelings, vibe, sexual, or otherwise onto the other person until they gradually ease themselves in. For example, if you're a peaceful person and you never move from that position no matter what, an angry person will have nothing to feed on to fuel their anger but peace, and they'll eventually get like you. This is as simple as it gets.

Depends on her type. Some girls will be seduced if they are talking too a tall, ripped black dude. Some girls are seduced by a 'pretty boy' with blue eyes and long hair and an earring etc.

As for what you say and stuff, it's not really important.

When you look at it, when someone says he 'seduced' a girl, all he done was make a move. Flirt etc. He didn't 'change her mind'. That's kind of what the word 'secude' implies, although it's not possible. No matter how slow you talk or charasmatic and funny or whatever you are, if she doesn't have SEXUAL attraction for you, it won't help you, so best not to worry about that too much

What's the difference between someone who lives a long, disease-free life and those whose lives are cut short by terminal illnesses?

Most people seem to be socially functional and are able to learn and adapt in a way that enables them to meet, attract and seduce the opposite sex. Unfortunately there are some of us who are socially dysfunctional and will never be able to seduce no matter what. It's simply just a lottery in nature.
