You’re overthinking. 40k students is a fuck ton and any reputation you gain while gaming girls (player, sleaze, fuckboi) will probably behoove you more than anything.

Just do a more social-based logistical close and you're golden. Something along the lines of, "Well you seem cool, we're going to such 'n such a bar this Friday, you should come." That sort of thing. Works GREAT in college. Actually works great in any social situation.

I think that's a valid concern. Now that you've bagged 320 direct approaches, you have a certain confidence. In a smaller setting like a campus, you can go indirect. Chat up girls for the sake of chatting them up and feel the energy. You have no fear of going up to girls and saying you think they look gorgeous or pretty or whatever. Now with indirect, you will have no problem asking them if they want to hang out sometime and getting their number if the energy is good and the interaction goes well.

You will have to feel out the indirect approaches a bit. It'll be a new skill set, but by far way easier to learn if you're already comfortable with direct. Direct is a good way to quickly develop the fundamental skills that you need for approaches. Confidence, ability to show intent, and asking for what you want.

Just remember to have fun and make it playful and/or interesting for her. Don't think about getting a number unless it really feels right. If it's right, sometimes they will offer their number outright, other times they will linger a bit at the end of the interaction, keeping eye contact and not going anywhere. Otherwise, don't force it: There's a good chance you can re-approach with these girls, and that often increases your chances. (see the familiarity effect)

EDIT: Other times, you see a girl that is absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous to you. Save the direct approaches for those. It will be a lot more congruent with how you feel and genuine.

My entire college experience was set up beautifully from my first week on campus and I was just like you, had already done 100’s of cold approaches before I ever got to campus. With that said, still to this day what makes the game so much easier for me now, and helped me through my entire time at college was, all I care about is that the girl knows that the first time I had a chance to say hello I did. (like a real chance, not interrupting her talking to her guidance counselor or something lol) I want to know who she is, where she’s from, what year she is, and if she’s single or left a bf back home (always say with a smile and eye contact which immediately heightens the sexual vibe) if she’s single/available I’m finding out what she’s doing now/tonight and trying to escalate.. if she’s not single/available I’ll connect with her on social and always of course be super cool with her every time I see her, she’ll likely come give you a hug whenever you see her out (great social proof for all the other girls around) and eventually who knows what may go down in the future.. regardless you always have that connection with her because you both know the first chance you had to approach you did.. multiply this by however many girls you see/approach on a daily basis and you’re going to have a constant pipeline of fun your entire college career. Just have fun and be cool with EVERYONE (guys and girls) which is the true key to social life in college and after college. College is strictly social circle game. You need to host parties or pregames or after parties to invite people over, this will make people more comfortable at your place. Key for closing girls.
I highly highly highly recommend stop keeping a tab on your approaches. You will be known as "that guy" which isnt good in a college setting., especially if youre opens are mostly direct.
Be able to befriend staff at your local bars and have female friends, this will create social proof and preselection which has been scientifically proven to be attractive to women.

go direct, no one cares 40 k is a fuck ton of people , I cold approach in a much small community college and have no problems
