Until recently, I'd been struggling for 3 months with oneitis for a girl I knew. I wasnt clear in my intentions and got friendzoned. After discovering seddit, I finally let my balls descend and was ready to be straightforward with what I wanted in our relationship and walk away if she couldn't provide. Needless to say, she couldn't. I rejected her offer to remain friends(read: be her beta orbiter) and it's been two weeks since I last saw or contacted her. It feels like that dependency and sadness when I wasn't around her is fading and I don't think about her as often, but when I do, the truth starting to become apparent still hurts. The fact that I always texted first, that she never put in the amount of investment as I did and, while it may not be reality, it feels like she doesn't and never did care enough to prevent me from walking away and never looking back. Is this just a pain I have to deal with whenever I look back on this experience or do I still have some manning-up to do?
