The article makes a great point about neediness being difficult to hide. There have been a few times in my life that I've developed a case of oneitis and felt like I needed that one particular girl to make my life complete, and it was almost as though the girl in question could smell it. Not just the girl either, but my friends could detect it too because their eyes would glaze over whenever I'd start talking about her. But ever since I adopted an attitude of "I like you, but I don't need you" I've been more successful with women and I've also managed not to annoy my friends when it comes to women I'm attracted to.

In the book "Models" by Mark Manson, I remember him describing it as how a woman likes a challenge and that when you give her all of your attention at once, there's no thrill. She already won you and she didn't have to try for anything. Everyone likes a challenge and we're driven by it. It's what makes us feel accomplished once we succeed in getting what we want.

Can someone please give me an example of a how to disqualify. Like I get the need for sincere compliments, but for the life of me I can't seem to understand "teasing" or the "push/pull"

IMO its all about becoming a secure, confident, well rounded person. When you genuinely are that person everything you do will be accompanied with an air of confidence. This is the true 'inner game' everyone talks about. Its not silly routines or other corny tricks, its living your life from a stable inner foundation. From that place I can communicate to a women sexual intent or even a desire to want more from a relationship with being needy. This however does take time to development (like a muscle) and the only true indicators of progress are situations that test you. Read 'Models' by Mark Manson and 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' by Robert Glover
