How do you deal with "shit tests"? (Based on Models by Mark Manson)

I think it depends on the remark. If it isn't something serious I think your method is fine as long as you are being humorous and not acting insecure about whatever the remark was. It shows that you can take it in stride and that it doesn't really bother you.

If you were to instead say something like "Actually my height is average" you might come off as uptight and unable to take a joke. I don't feel like a response like this really shows any confidence.

If you're worried about appearing too nice (though I doubt a response like that would get you labeled as a "nice guy") you can always tease her a little without being overtly mean.

Basically I naturally don't take them seriously. I look at what women do more than I listen to what they say.

So if a girl says bullshit, I briefly acknowledge what they say. Possibly with humor, but sometimes not. You have to be careful not to force humor too hard humor because it sometimes puts a lot of emphasis on the subject. Even when your intent was to show you're confident and not affected.

After I acknowledged it, with a bit of humor (not trying too hard with it).. I change the subject to something interesting and will actually go places.

So if a girl says something like that it might go along the lines of:

" It's ok don't worry, I'm actually very attractive. ... You're not bad either. (some type of physical escalation like my arm around her)... so you're going where in august ?"

I just made that up on the spot but you get the idea.

The idea is to be cocky/funny, not sarcastic/asshole. You are being reactive and unattractive.

The other day I approached a gorgeous girl in a coffee shop and sat down with her. At first she was giving me a little friction. This was a turning point in the conversation:

Her: ..I'm from Lithuania

Me: I haven't met many Lithuanians in London.

Her: Have you been living underground? [implying there are loads of Lithuanians]

Me: yeah I actually live in a cave, it's awesome.

Nothing too clever but I showed her that I wasn't bothered by her little dig. After that point she realised I was cool and she was a lot more friendly.
