Meeting potential women. I feel like I could impress a girl with good conversation and the right kino, but I have hang ups on going out alone (esp. being in a new city) and find it rare to meet potential targets.

Not really a part of "seduction" per se; more of a consequence. I've gotten to the point where seeing the pain caused to a woman when she realizes you don't want to have a relationship with her (after you've had sex) bothers me.... a lot. I guess old age softens you, but I'd rather avoid the sexual encounter entirely if I know that the girl is going to be hurt afterwards. I never worried about this crap when I was in my 20's. I've tried sticking with older more experienced woman, but even they start with the emotional attachments after a couple months of sexual encounters.

For me, the most difficult part is turning it off. I find myself in constant flirt or PUA mode. Its become so much a part of my personality that I have a hard time just settling back and being a "normal guy". When at a restaurant, I flirt with the waitress, make borderline comments and innuendos to friends, and I’m always "ON", looking for the next punch line or anchor point. Some friends have said that I’m hard to talk to about serious things because of it, even if they know I'll give them good advice. MAKE IT STOP!! ;-P
