This story is three years old but reading TofuTofu's 2 hour LMR made me want to write.

I met a girl at the gym. We had had two dates already, each date the same. They all went like this:

I would invite her over to hang out and watch a movie. She'd show up in heels, make-up, hair done, etc, like she was ready to go to a fine restaurant. I'd be in jeans and a T, barefoot. We'd put in the DVD and start to watch whatever chick flick she brought with her. Now it gets interesting:

I'd start touching her, things would start getting hot, and then she'd say, "No, no, we can't be doing this." I'd ignore her and keep going but she'd get insistent so I'd just back off entirely and turn my attention back to Cameron Diaz or whatever. Then she'd say, "Oh, but it feels so good, maybe..." and things would start up again... until she got too hot and said, "No, no, we can't be doing this." Repeat literally 4-5 times.

Eventually she would say, "Hey, do you have some Kahlua?" I kept it on hand just for her. I'd pour two drinks, on the rocks. We'd shoot our drinks and 3 seconds later she'd say, "Let's go to the bedroom." From there, no problem. She was an animal. She would latch on to my shoulder with her teeth when she climaxed.

Well, on the third night of this I was so tired of the LMR that I said, "You're right, we shouldn't be doing this, maybe you should go."

She said, "Oh, okay, I guess that I'm not attractive enough. That's okay, I understand."

I said, "Not at all! You're so sexy!" We started making out... until again we-shouldn't-be-doing-this.

Again I said, "Yeah, I guess maybe you should go then."

She started up with her insecurities again and by now I was so tired of it that I just walked her out. I closed the door to my apartment with her outside while she was mid-sentence about how she's not good enough.

tl;dr Sometimes you just can't be bothered. Especially if you've already slept with her before.
