Hi seddit, here's a little background. This is my first FR. Lurked here off and on for a while, never posted. I've had successes with girls before but have not been getting what I want so I thought I'd start putting the things I've been picking up (lame pun detected) in to use.

I am in college and my ultimate goal is to get rid of my inability to seal the deal. Here's the FR.

Met a girl from class, noticed she was glancing at me regularly. Didn't do anything cause I'm stupid. Fast forward a week later, we are both waiting for class to start. I strike up conversation and it's good, we're both laughing here and there and finding out about each other. She's receptive and asking her own questions too. I tell her to sit with me in class. Lecture ends and we are both walking out. We continue talking, and before we split ways I ask her to study with me next time for the class and ask for her number. I can sense a little hesitation (maybe a boyfriend or actually not interested in me). I give a small smile and say bye after we trade.

That's it. Short and simple! :)

To me this is a win, albeit a small one, because I've been in a huge personal funk lately. It's an affirmation that I haven't become a total dweeb and I've been limiting myself this whole time. A small step towards where I want to be basically.

Now here's the iffy part, I might have read the body language wrong. I also feel like I should have asked her to hang out instead of to study. It sets the right tone but can also fail because there is a very shaky comfort level, which can be helped with a more casual event first, like studying. But if she's interested why would it matter if you asked her to directly hang out. It wouldn't because she should jump at the chance, right?

Anything you guys want to add? I didn't kino in this situation because there wasn't really a natural time that I felt I should do it. Will work on integrating it more though.
