First off, let me start by saying I've been on reddit for quite some time, but only recently (two days ago) found this sub-reddit. Having said that, please forgive me for any etiquette or acronyms I may miss or missuse.

I have an opener that I love to use because it fits with my personality, it's very entertaining, and it works best when approaching a group of women. The downside is that it requires one of the women to be wearing a watch.

You start by approaching the women and ask if you could conduct an experiment, or give one of them a test. Invariably they always say yes. At this point, you ask your target (the one with the watch) to stare into your eyes. Once you've got her complete attention, you ask her, "Without looking at your watch, does it have numbers, roman numerals, or dots to represent the hours". This is my favorite part because their faces almost always go blank as they realize they have no clue. After watching their agony for a few seconds feel free to let them check their watch and answer your question.

Directing their attention back to your eyes, you then ask them, "Does your watch have a second hand?". This one usually gets them 75% of the time, and by now, they're pretty flustered as well as having the rest of the group giggling and laughing as their friend once again goes blank. Allow her to check her watch, and report back to you whether or not the watch has a second hand.

Once again, directing their attention to your eyes, you ask, "What time is it?". Even though they've already looked at their watch two times previously, they almost always go blank again to a loud raucus of their friends laughing. By now, you're the groups best friend, and all eyes are on you.

This is a psychological experiment I learned about back in college many moons ago. It shows how that when the brain is focused on something specific (such as the hour markings, or whether or not there's a second hand) that it ignores everything else even though it may be right in front of your eyes.

I know I've been going on, but the purpose of this post is to find from this community any other interesting and entertaining "games" that one could use. Since this game requires the target to be wearing a watch, it sadly means that it can't be used for every situation. I've tried using google, but sadly I cannot seem to find the right wording to provide results.

TL;DR - I use a psychological game to sometimes start conversations with groups of women, and I'm looking for more to use.
