Basically anything that hints to her that you're interested.

I once heard flirting described as "prolonging interaction beyond what is considered appropriate between acquaintances." It's a little dogmatic, but my take-away was: hold the tension. Don't be the first to pull out of a moment. Hold eye contact longer. Hold a handshake longer. Allow her to break that contact instead of "giving up" first. Anything more advanced will be predicated on having the self-control to sustain and guide the interaction. Show that you won't knee-jerk react to an emotionally charged moment.

If you don't understand what flirting is, then you can only understand it through experience. It would be like describing color to a blind person. You can describe an abstract concept through words, but the other person won't "understand" it without actually experiencing it. So go out and talk to females so you can experience it.
