Don't compliment a woman on her looks, that's what AFCs do, to try to suck up to her. Only compliment her when she tries to qualify herself to you, and she gives you some other property that is praiseworthy, like she is a good student, she's smart, she has a good sense of humor, etc.

All of these seem like they want another compliment or for you to reinforce your original one. As long as you keep it sincere and follow it up well you could get quite far.

Da fuq? "Really?" is not a shit test, you support your compliment immediately following this test, e.g. "Yeah, you wear those tight jeans really well."

"I'm a bit chubby." Good response on your part; sometimes I'll reply "I'm not into skinny girls, I like curves."

"No, I'm not." She has problems and I might not even pursue it beyond this. That's just me though.
