This seriously works. My best friend would poke me. I'd poke him back. He then poked me really hard. I bit him. He tackled me. It ended with he and I making out. Anything with touching, as innocent as it may seem, can escalate.

I really wish guys would ask first. I get that it ruins the fun - and honestly it probably is fun and it's probably a brilliant idea with most girls.

But I hate being tickled. It's a trigger for me - I was sexually abused for over a year as a teen, and he would always start by holding me down and tickling me. Interestingly, I'm now into hardcore bdsm, but if someone touches my stomach or tickles me I'll always panic and immediately need 5 minutes or so to get back into a normal headspace.

I've done this before and it worked well. I initiated it by asking the girl to show off her guns, then feeling her arm, and going from there. I think the counting ribs trick is great as well. anyone else have ideas?

Something similar but more mature I've done is if she's wearing a short dress/skirt accidentally brush her leg with your hand then mention how smooth her skin is and rub it again on purpose.
