So, I come here in hopes of getting REAL help, although I don't know if that will happen. I wish I could keep this short, but unfortunetely it may take a bit to explain my situation.

Long of the short, I'm 24 and live with my family now. How did I get here? Well, growing up I was an only child. On top of that, I moved around every two years of my life. So, basically, no long term connections in the world. I then went off to college, transferred to another college and graduated in May 2011 with a BS in Psychology with a business minor.

I couldn't find a job, even though I tried. Looking back, I know I could have done more, but I can't change the past. I shut down after two months. Mainly because I was in the house with my "family". They are emotionally abusive to me and have been since forever. On top of that, they invited a relative into the house that I don't get along with. So, add that to the mix, and I live in hell. I didn't care if I died and didn't care about anything. I knew no one in the area either.

I somehow managed to return to college back in January 2012. I was going for a more technical degree and things were going well. I even managed to get an on campus job over the summer. Also went out of my way to make friends in the place. I hated the state and the culture of the college, but still managed to make connections in the world in an 8 month period. However, over the summer I started shitting blood and diarrhea 12 times a day and losing my appetite. Long of the short, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.

I saw a specialist and they didn't get my meds right until a week after I already decided to leave school over this issue. I left school because I couldn't see myself dealing with school like this. Well, here I am again. Back at square one.

I'm back in my parents house and shutting down once again. I have lost all connections in the world once again. I have no where to run too. I have no extended family to run too. On top of all this, I have this "chronic" disease that has no cure. Only way to deal with it is to be on meds for a lifetime until they come up with a cure. AKA, I can't just go homeless and run away without somewhere to go.

I feel trapped and too be honest, I really am in a way. I have a massive gap in employement. I have only one month experience working over this summer. I have previous experience and have worked since I was in high school and the first time I was in college, but employers will just see what they see.

What am I asking for? I don't know really. I see everyone else in the world having a happy time and having friends. I have nothing at all. I see no way out of this.

I wish I could just run somewhere. Hell, if there was some PUA company that hired me I would run there and work my ass off to improve my life. Or any company for that matter. I would have zero shame, because I know where I came from and would never want to turn back to that again.

In a way, I just want someone to help me help myself. I want someone out there to contact me and put out a hang and help pick me up so I can start walking on my own again.

I don't want vague advice ("oh it will get better"). I want REAL advice.

Could someone please lend out a hand and help pick me up? Can someone out there please help me help myself?
