I would probably be dead. I was very suicidal before I found the PUA/ not giving a fuck/ being alpha/ confidence scene. My success with women has only been mildly better, but it does not matter because I feel better even when I am alone.

But I know that won't happen. It's almost taboo to admit you have problems with attracting women.

Honestly I'd have stayed a virgin, then when I hit my 30s and have exhausted the entire internet's supply of porn banks, probably have a meltdown.

It's not a "victim" mentality we are looking for. It is a POWER mentality. Think. Try to get in touch with your inner man.

Without discovering David DeAngelo's Double Your Dating ebook in 2005 and getting my first taste of the seduction community, I'd still be some asshole trying to woo girls romantically by buying them flowers (did that) and taking them on awful, expensive first dates (did that too). Oh, and crying when I didn't get them and some natural did (did that).

Seduction helped me become a much more confident man at the beginning. After finally getting over my first LTR, seduction helped me recover and actually get laid again - it blew my mind open and made me a calmer, happier person. Without it I'd be depressed about the same shit over and over again. I'd compensate by being an egotistical asshole rather than the kind of asshole that does what he wants for himself, not his ego. I still have a long way to go - I still have massive AA and I don't go out enough - but I'm much better off than I would be without pickup.

I was on a pretty good path before finding the community, so without it I'd have less opportunity to get technical advice (the best way to text, the 3s rule, escalation ladder, etc.), but things would be pretty much the same.

Without the general "community," seddit probably wouldn't be here, but I'd like to think a similar subreddit would still have existed. It'd probably involve a lot of the same advice, but it'd be more rudimentary, like the various confidence-related subreddits, or r/relationships, or whatever. Maybe it'd be like the masf forums back in the day (where Mystery, Tyler, and various other guys got started).

It wouldn't affect me much, but I'd definitely be more "blind" to various social situations, and I'd still be more of a jackass in regards to hooking up/dating.
