What is your occupation/career and how does it interact with your pick up?

Consultant. I travel 4 days a week. This is great for random hookups at hotel bars but horrible for building relationships with girls. I've had a few one night stands on the road but I'm getting kind of tired of it and the lifestyle isn't very conducive to building anything.

I teach elementary school. I think the biggest skill that teaching imparts you with is the ability to think on your feet quickly. Being in a room full of 6-12 year old kids, you have to be ready for anything to happen at the drop of a hat.

It also just fosters a lot of spontaneity and fun. I spend all day goofing around with kids and the energy spills over into pick up. I blurt out ridiculous stuff for my own amusement, make faces, and generally just have a fun attitude. Girls love it.

I build robots that go into space. We've got a lot of technology in use by NASA, The European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency. We have shit in low/high earth orbit. We have shit on other planets. I've met an Apollo astronaut who did some consulting for some of our projects. The job and the projects we work on are really fucking cool.

Now for the kicker.

I don't mention it during pickup. I don't even hint at it. I hate interview style questions about it and really only share this detail of my life with friends (and those I want to be friends with) and family. You shouldn't need to rely on other aspects of your life to seduce a girl.

Instead, I'll toy with the girl if she asks what I do. I'll say I'm a captain of a pirate ship, or that I just finished a jewellery heist. Then I'll make up ridiculous stories and ask her what relevant skills she has to contribute to the trade, since we're always looking for more people. They typically get very into it. The key during this time is that your language needs to be very sexual and full of innuendo.

Professional photographer. Most of the work I do is pretty boring - product photography alone in a studio, sitting on a computer for hours and hours using Photoshop. But a perk is that sometimes (not enough), I get to work with professional models. Professional models aren't all what you think of as a model - it's like actors, some are old, some young, some male, some female. But there are a good few who are really beautiful fashion models. So I get to direct them, which is basically telling them how to pose.

The way that helps me in pickup is that I had to get really comfortable doing it, or it would never work. So I have a lot of experience working with the most beautiful girls around, which means that going up to that HB9 at the bar isn't a big deal for me.

And no, I don't really run game on the models I work with.

Im 19 and I do landscaping! I make quite a bit of money for my age, and I definitely gain confidence, especially after storm sandy. People are suprisngly interested in what I do, so I like to talk about it haha. Other than that, I obviously don't interact with women very much, but its still fun.

Med student. I don't bring it up because people have very polarized views on (future) docs. What I have noticed is that since I started clinical rotations, I have more confidence approaching people. This is because I was forced to do it for 2 years. I'm not yet at the level of social smoothness on my own time as I am on rotations, but I am getting there.

I work nights sorting boxes for a shipping company. Since it's at night, I don't get to hit up bars often enough. Also, it leaves me burned out and sleeping during the daytime so day gaming is affected significantly. Pretty much my interactions with girls are limited.

I'm 22 and as of last year, my brother and I own a casket company. I've been around the casket industry my whole life, so it doesn't bother me to discuss what I do, but most people get pretty weirded out when I tell them about it. This being the case, I will usually avoid the topic when I can and one of my favorite ways to do this is to leave them guessing. Girl: "What do you do?" Me:"I'll give you a hint: I'm in the manufacturing business and we make something that you'll be dying to get one day."

Merchant Navy, full of good stories and can keep a convo going for a while, however, alot fo gay jokes mixed in with the fact girls know i wont be here for a long time so sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Women like the uniform though so sometimes thats a great perk!

Im go to university for aerospace engineering this fall. Girls I know now find it impressive. Their moms find it more impressive. Needless to say im quite interested to see how it works out for meeting women later on in life. I really like your question. Upvote

I'm in sales in the telecommunications industry so I talk to strangers every day. I get to meet a lot of interesting people and I've definitely built a vast network because of it. Sales basically has the same principles as pick up and attraction so a lot that I've read and what I've been taught (from work) goes hand in hand and has helped me become successful in both. I can read body language and voice tone to a certain extent and know how important it is to make people feel comfortable around you so they're more willing to buy/buy in what you're selling (which is essentially yourself and what you have to offer).

My job is stressful because its high pressure performance based (all sales jobs usually are). I don't think women are "woo'd" by my job but because I can improv on the go and mixed with a little flirting, it conveys confidence and women are attracted to that. My pay is decent to where I can save and still throw money around and support myself and my hobbies (travel, go to a lot of music shows, try out different restaurants, etc.). The only other drawback about working in sales is that I'm very outcome driven which can cause outcome dependency in pick up and attraction.

TL;DR: I'm a professional flirt. It has helped me catch "cues" and be able to react promptly on them.

I'm in college, and I'm a music student. I can play piano in most situations to demonstrate value, and I get a lot of stories about being in bands and whatnot. My username is a perfect excuse to bring a girl back to the dorm (though getting to that point is a lot harder :P). I won't be incredibly financially stable, even right out of grad school, but I love what I do immensely, and I hope that shows to everyone that I talk to.

I work in a store similar to the kiosks in the mall. It's great because for 8-9 hours I'm constantly "approaching", but in a different way because the people come to me. I'm constantly dealing with rejection, you have to really put yourself out there to yell into a crowd of people and be enthusiastic about your product. You end up learning things like the power of insisting on something, different energy levels, strong eye contact, even dealing with frame battles at the beginning of the interaction. They also taught me a sales process, I've gotten really good at leading the customer with my voice and kino, doing light teases to keep the conversation interesting. There's still a LOT of things I need to improve on but this job gives a chance to explore a wide range of PUA tactics and make money at the same time. I'd say my game has improved massively because of it in the last 6-8 months.

I'm a high school teacher. I also taught writing at the college level, which seemed to be a much better DHV when talking to girls. I prefer high school though.

It helps with having to come back with witty replies, thinking on your feet, and keeping good proximity and eye contact. Obviously not with Kino. Those teachers tend to get fired and lose their licenses.

I'm work at a Bistro in So-Cal and I have to maintain eye contact and speak loudly, clearly, and confidently to hot chicks all the time. I also work with very pretty women as well, and when the work day gets to be very slow, the only thing to do is talk to them. So basically my job forced me get used to talking to chicks.
