I live in a medium sized city and had never seen a real penthouse. So on a day off I started hitting up every high-rise I could find.

I dressed up in my best business casual, went to the leasing office, and asked to see their most expensive model. I had a fake move in date planned 2 months away and said I could afford 6k a month. I wasn't looking to sign anything today and I was just looking. About 70% of the places I went to had attractive girls who gave the tours.

At first I was a bit shy and felt out of place. Soon I got over it. Looking at fantastic penthouses with gorgeous views was already a huge reward but to make it better the girls from the leasing office were always very pleasant and flirted a lot. Many of the places I looked at had free candy and soda in the fridge that I was begged to take.

After I toured a few I knew the drill and started getting relaxed and focusing on the person. I had run out of my 'ums' and had gotten better at evaluating the apartment and asking questions. I started to feel in control and got better at simply enjoying walking around pretty places with a stranger. Every new place was like a new date and at the end I always got her number ;)

Having a defined structure to practice in was really helpful in gaining confidence and working on subtilties of my behavior. Plus now when I look at the skyline I know what most of the buildings look like on the inside.

I had a great time sightseeing, getting free candy and chatting to pretty professional girls. If you're bored in the middle of the day sometime I highly advise it.
