There is no way you can ever fail your first attempt. The fact that you went out and did it is a victory in itself. Good job, man. Don't orient yourself towards results as you continue. Focus on making at least one minor improvement each time.

No one is good at anything their first time, don't let it get you down bro. 9 attempts in one night coming from fear of girls and rejection? That's impressive. I say "Job well done"

The first approaches are the hardest. Notice that you didn't drop dead of a heart attack, and nobody murdered you. That was all you needed to do for a first attempt.

Now you do that again. And about a thousand more times. Each time you go out, you will make mistakes, but then, you will also make observations about what works. Notice and remember your successes and use them in future approaches, since they work for you.

Don't worry so much in the early stages. Some PUAs call these "reference experiences," you're trying to build up a large memory of approaches so you have references to what works and what doesn't. It takes a while to build up enough reference experiences.

@ jkthe, don't be discouraged. I started out exactly like you, and, there has been some improvement. Moreover...if I had a dollar for the number of times girls said not to me recently, I would have close to $50 now...and to put it in perspective: I have been single for a very, very long time, also, i am starting to get old. Not OLD old, but still pretty old. --Hang in there, you will get much better at it and something tells me you are still pretty young. You have time. Happy seducing.
