Here's what I read:

Girl says something. Must be a shit test. I need to go on seddit asap and find a combination of words so I'm prepared should this exact situation happen again sometime.

Not a shit test. Chances are you're being too demanding and she doesn't like it.

Solution: don't be so demanding. Stop reading old pickup material. It's calibrated (most likely) for a different type of girl, or a different situation, or would work better if the person delivering the material was different than you. Don't be needy. Asking questions or making requests isn't needy, making needy requests is needy. By the time you ask for her number, she should be interested enough in you that it's not really a question anyway. If saying "give me your number" instead of asking is the difference between walking out with her number or not, chances are she'll flake anyway.

I don't think you should be scolded for saying that. I've said "gimme your number" to many girls that simply and they gave it.

Only one girl responded like the one that responded to you like that and said "um...no" because she felt I was being rude. She was the headstrong type.

So, in my experience most of the time that line works whether online or off.

you'd get better responses if you change the wording a little. Even "You should give me your number" already significantly improves your chances at a positive response. You're encouraging it, not demanding it. She would feel much better giving her digits is she feels she's making the choice to give you her number, not that you forced it from her.

The problem with the PUA material is that its too broad to apply to every girl. Some girls will actually like you being demanding others dont.

Some like it when you're upfront with your intentions. I'm talking about how Sasha Daygame goes around making it clear he wants to fuck girls casually and even makes remarks such as 'lets exchange orgasams'

Its funny but it wont work on every girl. It'll work on girls who arent afraid to express themselves and are confident with their sexuality but how many girls are like that? Girls are much more insecure about themselves than us. If that wasn't true then more men would have anorexia than women.

Remember, some girls love it when your upfront and to some extent, demanding. Others prefer a gentleman who is polite and caring. We have to make an educated guess on how a girl is.

As far as your question goes, you can either apologize and explain that you like her and want to continue this some other time or stand your ground and say I'm a man who knows what I want.

Here's a hunch: there isn't much congruency between your actual person and that line, "Give me your number." It may sound natural and fitting when someone else does it, but probably not you. She won't call out a guy who's an all-round scumbag.
