I watched a TED Talk last week that really inspired me, and one message in particular really stuck with me.
Just do it now. You're never going to feel like it; you literally have to FORCE yourself to do something, to improve. OF COURSE you'd rather sit on your ass all day than work out. OF COURSE you'd much prefer sleeping in until 10AM instead of getting up at 7 like you said you would. You literally have to force yourself to do these things... Because you'll NEVER just FEEL like doing them.
Such a simple piece of advice, but I really had to hear that line, "you're never going to feel like it."
