I'd guess that your lack of experience would show and they would soon realise even if you didn't tell them. You don't have to tell people on the first date or anything, but if looks like things might be getting intimate, then it might be worth telling them.

How old are you? I would say if you are like under 18 it doesn't really matter. However if you are older I would probably shy away from telling them as this could make them think 'Hmm whats wrong with this guy that he hasn't been able to get laid yet?'

Just because you're a virgin doesn't mean your game is weak. Girls don't see virgins as lesser or as being turn offs inherently. Virginity is an indicator for more than one thing. If you pay a hooker to take your virginity and your game still sucks, then she's gonna know your game sucks.

I'm a 22 year old virgin and this is something I regularly thought about, although I still have get to the point of actually getting a girl at my place or do approaches on a daily basis. But I think it would make it a bit awkward since she might be expecting amazing sex instead of klumsy sex. If you say nothing and act normally you will get sex. It might be a disaster or disappointing, but I'd say that is better than the girl walking away because you actually had sex and that's the point right? Right?!

Yes. While it probably could depend on the situation, I think you'll have an all around better first experience if you're honest.

Especially if it's someone you care about and/or are interested in a relationship with...If they care about you then it really shouldn't matter to them.. They'll probably take it as a compliment that you picked them.

Being honest also takes some of the pressure off. If it doesn't go so well, it's much easier to laugh it off and know the next time will be better than to have her questioning why you were so awkward or something.

I told my much more experienced boyfriend and it was a great decision! He was able to coach me through it and we ended up having a first time that was excellent for both of us :)

On a more serious note I'm still a virgin and I'm 20 (nearly 21) and I once thought that telling people in that situation would be a good idea but the more I ponder it the more I think how much of an awkward atmosphere it could create. Sex is supposedly more heavily leaning on the non-verbal side of things so maybe her finding out through your actions would be less awkward than actually announcing it.
