I honestly think texts are overrated.
Just because the girl you made out with last night doesn't respond to your text within 5 minutes, doesn't mean she hates your guts. Unless days pass without a reply, I usually don't even think twice about texts.

Even if days pass, there's nothing to be gained by thinking about it. She's not interested so whatever move on, not worth the time if she doesn't care enough to respond to a text

Some people aren't texters. Some people are just busy and don't like typing stuff out. My SO and I have never texted much. But we talk on the phone on the daily. It's really nice and makes me not want to go back to texting if I date someone else.

You're both automatically jumping to the scenario with the woman not immediately replying to a txt. What about you not instantly replying to HER TXT. Know that she WILL go to your conversation thread over and over looking for your reply. Wondering why you're not.

You're looking at it wrong. Instead of intentionally not replying, don't have the option to reply. Instead of hanging around, waiting for her to text, being her lapdog. Build a life where you're busy and can't always answer the texts. Because you don't have you're phone on you in the gym...or during training. Because you're too busy with something meaningful in your life that you can't reply then and she has to wait..or so busy you flat out forget.
Seems really simple and "No duh", but for a lot of guys, their lives are extremely empty and they will jump on that text message sooo fast.

I feel like there is a bit of a dispuit about this picture and the message it holds. What I get from this is that you should not let a unanswered text control you. Personally if a girl I thought I was hitting it off with replies short or hell not even at all, I start to over think and analyze everything. The truth of the situation is that you should not let anyone have this power over you. Also when she doesn't text you back I repeat I mean absolutely don't you dare send her or him something else. It dwindles your attractiveness.
