They'll talk, but why would you say something you don't want your friends to know? Are you saying bad things behind their backs? Simply don't say anything you don't want her to tell to people, because she will tell people.

Of course they talk - don't you? And the more interesting/weird the more likely they will talk about it. Either own who you are and be unashamed of things getting out, or if you are not that confident yet then don't tell her. DO NOT EXPECT HER TO KEEP THINGS SECRET Although saying that, most girls will actually keep things quite tight.

Girls talk...A LOT! Just two days ago my friend (A) told me that she and another mutual friend had been talking about a guy I have been seeing. I was pissed off and told A to not ever talk about my business with anyone ever again. ...I don't know if she can keep it though, so from now on I'll only be telling her shit I don't care about the world knowing.

So yeah, if you want to keep it private, don't tell anyone. =(
