During the holidays, I was chilling out with my friends. We smoked some weed and played video games, when a girl in my class called me. The year before I even talked shit to my friends, saying stuff like "yeah Imma do her". The girl told me she wanted to smoke weed and asked if I could come over. She hinted at me, and it was essentially a booty-call. I was caught by surprise, and quickly told her I didn't have any goodies. "Oh... well, you see, I'm home alone all night..." "Okay sure goodbye!"

As a kid I always thought that once I was a teenager, I'd jump at every opportunity like this one. But I was a coward. I told my friends what happened, and played it off, making excuses. I made a post on r/trees the same night, the sub for weed. Oh my god, I can't believe how bad I was; the post went like this: "This and that happened. Smoke'm and fuck'em!??!1"

The only response was a link to this subreddit. The post was probably deleted by the mods, so I'm unable to track down this kind soul who gave me a chance. I read intensely for weeks after. It felt like I had uncovered the Holy Grail. I sincerely hope that I can thank this user for what he did. He fucking saved me from a life of misery.

I had sort of settled into a boring life, staring at women from afar, using porn too much, and going nowhere in my dead end job.

Then while I was at work one day, this really hot girl came through my register. I remember her giving me 'the eye' but back then I thought nothing of it, no girl could like me, right?

When I finished work I had a facebook message from her along the lines of 'I see you there all the time, can I add you?'.

Long story short, she was crazy+hot, a combination that destroyed my neckbearded mind after she banged me a few times then ditched me after I immediately contracted oneitis. After several months of pining and acting completely 'nice guy' creepy, I found this sub, snapped out of it, and vowed never to let any girl have that effect on me, and to learn how to get the ones I actually want, while improving myself.

I'm still very much below where I'd like to be in the quality of women I can get, but that's also far above the girls I used to get when I 'got lucky' once per year or less.

Why am I here? There’s multiple reasons, but… I have a clear, vivid memory of me at work, sloughed in my chair and staring off into the distance. My heart ached. I felt a lump stuck in my throat as I tried not to reminisce and dwell on all the past, happy moments with her. The irony is that those happy moments could make you feel so… sad and alone. It didn’t help that I was listening to depressing rainy-day indie music, but it was embarrassingly comforting. There goes 6-and-a-half-year relationship. You almost married this girl. What happens if I don’t find another girl as amazing as her? These were thoughts that my mind was playing on repeat. Still, one stood out from the rest. It’s really over. I leaned back on my chair to stared at the ceiling and closed my eyes because I felt utterly sad and alone. It was the biggest heart break of my life, but I would do it all over again because that is what brought me down the rabbit hole of picking up women and dating self-help.

I was a virgin until late 20s, I was tall, decent dresser, and considered very good looking.... Yet a total and utter loser with women. Friends of friends began thinking I was gay. After no action in college and losing a HB 10 (no exaggerating on this as I'm quite picky with women) losing her because I was a pussy friend zoned loser, where she eventually met an Italian meat head with big muscles and dated him our entire senior year... I kinda had an epiphany where I could keep feeling sorry for myself or be grateful for the good things I did have, like I said I had plenty of friends both girls and guys. It must of been some slight intervention from God because I began, unknowingly at first, that i was getting some good attention from females (most of them just friends who had boyfriends already) but still some good feedback after I started busting their chops while out socializing... Whether it be at a bar or some social gathering. I thought nothing of it, other than I noticed some of them really giggling and I was getting attention from women I was never used to. Just about at that time I began receiving emails (randomly) from David deangelo who teaches cocky funny. I started putting 2 and 2 together and realized I was kinda already doing this and it's gold. So I went the cocky funny route and the rest is history.

Really it comes down to this, the #1 aphrodisiac for all women is confidence... Live it, breathe it, know it. Once I projected this confidence my life changed for the better. Hot girls gave me attention, I could now game better than any of my friends who were getting laid in high school while I wasn't. Ultimately I married my wife, a 5'10 Swedish blonde who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

I never stop flirting though, never stop the banter and talking to girls which is why I troll this community, always stuff to learn and grow. Even though I'm outta the game I'm still about improving myself and theres a lot of good info here to learn

I was 9 years old and I was at a skating rink in England. It was fun we would skate in circles and at the end of the night there was a part called "snow ball" where for one part the guys would ask the girls to skate and they would hold hands and skate a lap. this happened in september of 2000, all of my life i've been a somewhat angry neckbearded metal head. one day one of my best friends comes by and says, dude, you're in a rut and i think i know just how to get you out of it. he tells me to take a shower, get dressed, and for god's sakes shave. he leaves and says he'll be back in an hour.

so he goes and i go and get ready. fuck it's friday and i got nothing else to do. so i get ready, put on my nicest clothes, and get all dressed up. loud silk shirt, black cargo's, and my trademark boonie hat. g2g. he comes back and we smoke up. this is a normal occurrance for us, he then hands me over a little baggie, inside of it is a blue pill with a smilie face on it. i knew what it was right away. he told me that he's got directions to a rave and we're going, not to take it till we get to the parking lot, and then he tosses me a pack of blunts and a bag o weed and tells me to roll it up.

so, after about 30 additional minutes of getting prepped, mostly me rolling blunts, and him and me passing around and smoking the one we had going, we get underway. the site of the party is about 3 hours drive away. i hand him the box of swishers i just rolled up and he told me to keep 2 of them, give him 2 and blaze one up for the ride.

so, we get to the venue. it's a warehouse in the middle of BFE alabama outside of birmingham. we pull up into the parking lot and i see a line out around the building and i hear bass throbbing from the inside.

we go to get in line and he tells me that to get in i either have to have 10 bucks or 4 cans to donate to the local food bank. 10 bucks it is, but good to know for later. anyways, we are in line behind this absolutely gorgeous girl. she's all tatted up, wearing baggie raver pants and a tube top. i start chatting her up and told her this was my first rave and she acted like she was all excited and wanted to introduce me to all of her friends when we got inside. it was at this point that i popped my pill.

after about an hour, i needed water and a nice quiet spot to chill and gather my thoughts. i never, ever, in my life, thought i'd be doing something like this. i was always the guy standing along the wall at parties sneering at everyone having fun. so anyways, we get to the chill out corner and she sits in my lap and we talk about stuff. i dont' quite remember what but we're talking. i seem to vaugely remember telling her that she's incredibly beautiful. there's alot of deep gazes in each other's eyes and all of that.

right then i made my move. i kissed her, and when i pulled back, she kissed me. we made out for a while in the chill out room and then went back to the dancefloor.

so yeah. transition from angry, neckbearded asshole to rico suave in like 6 hours.

OK here's da truth.

I was very crazy in love with a teaching assistant when I was around 21. I really fell for the girl, there were lots of ''signs'' she was perfect for me, we had few talks and I never knew anyone like that before. Pursued it like a motherfucker, got the number, got flaked like in a blizzard. The usual pattern - fall in love - be needy and innocent - get rekt.

Then I red Game. Then I surf around found much content - then I found redpill. There is much good content there - I was hooked for a year, but ultimately many posts are toxic and makes u focus on the negatives - like feminists and women doing nasty shit, pussy pass etc.

I found it hard to focus on the positive things women can bring in my life, while reading that sub.
Its like trying to get rich while constantly being reminded that ''money is evil''.

Spent those few yrs since 21 (now 25) improving day game inch by inch, finishing Uni, and dating.

When I was a freshman in college I had 0 game, I would just go to frat parties and literally start grinding on any girl that didn't have a dude on her, surprise surprise I didn't get laid. Ended up getting into a relationship after a girl started hitting on me my sophomore year, lol I was so bad that I had to get hit on, anyway we broke up junior year and here I was single again having 0 idea how to spit game. I found myself at parties unable to approach girls and had little confidence, and more importantly I felt like a loser who was going to have to wait a year before I ever got thrown another bone. After hearing one of my friends who has great success with women talk about how watching RSD changed the game for him I decided to check it out. I watched a ton of RSD, then I started reading here, and then started applying techniques to girls I met at parties and bars. I'll be honest it's been 6 months since I started and I've only gotten laid once, not the best but I had a streak of bringing 4 girls home and getting the "I'm not that type of girl card thrown at me." The important part is that I'm enjoying the fuck out of the single life. There is nothing like going off at a party, getting in a zone where I feel like the man, and dancing, approaching, and trying to hookup with every attractive girl I can find (I go to an engineering school so sometimes thats hard). The more I focused on self improvement the better I felt, I'm still a beginner and still have a lot of work to do, but the whole experience has given me a lot more confidence and has made going out 100 times more fun, even talking to guys and meeting strangers, for someone whose always considered himself an introvert with no social skills I finally feel like I'm able to interact with people as an adult. For the first time in my life I'm approaching girls I'm generally attracted to and getting good results, I'm meeting up with a HB[8] tomorrow night for some drinks at a bar, wish me good luck!

Well, I wasn't exactly trying to pick up women. My friend was a bouncer at a nightclub and invited me there for free cover charge and some drinks. So we show up and he promptly ditched me to make his rounds and be the social dick bag he is to a bunch of acquaintances, leaving behind his best friend. I see the other bouncer that I'd met through my buddy, so I go over to say hi. He's this huge, muscley black dude that slays chicks all the time. I say what's up and I say, "So uh...what the hell do people do here? Like...what am I supposed to be doing?"

He says, "You 'spose to go talk to girls man! Have at it!"

So I'm like, oh, okay. So I head to the bar area, away from the dance floor since I hadn't gotten a "free drink" from douche bag best friend yet. I sit at the bar and wait to see if my friend comes around for one of those drinks. I forgot to mention that my glasses had recently broke and I didn't have any replacement yet! So I couldn't see shit in this dark ass club. I look about twenty chairs down and see a brunette and blonde sitting together. They're constantly having guys walk up to them and shooting them down, so I just watch it play out a while. Kind of funny shit going on by the time my buddy shows up. As he's chatting with me, I notice the brunette looking my way and I can't tell for sure, because I can't see a single detail of her face. I say to my buddy, "See those two girls over there? I walk over and I ask the blonde, "Anyone sitting here?"

And she says, "Nope!"

She turns her body away, further than she was before and I was like, "Damn, I was only going to sit down, but that must mean you don't want me to speak to you either!"

"Well, excuse the fuck outta me!", I replied. The bartender gives them their drinks and my friend shows back up for a moment. He gives me a free drink. I get captivated watching a GoGo dancers fine ass wiggle, when all of a sudden the blonde taps me on the shoulder, "So...Having a good night? Whatcha drinkin?"

But I'm still pissed at her and reply, "Hell, I don't know. I didn't order it. I don't know what I'm doing at all, I don't even know how to order a drink or what I'm doing here. This is my first time in a night club. Not like you, on the other hand, it looks like you've done this a million times!"

"Hey! Don't be like that!", she says. And now we start chatting. I asked about her and how her night's going, she brings up her boyfriend that works there. So I ask about him, because maybe I know him, seeing as I know all the bouncers and a few of the dancers, and now the bartender! She was basically bullshitting me and the more questions I asked, the more I realized she was just trying to shoot me down. (Shit tests, as this sub would say)

At this point, I realize the brunette I forgot about entirely was smiling at me like a retard. Like I was her entire life sitting there. So I ask, "OH yeah? What about her? Is her boyfriend here, too?"

"Yep! Her boyfriend is coming soon", She says. Although, this entire time the blonde is blocking me from talking to the brunette, and the brunette keeps making eyes at me. She even winks, smiles, tosses her hair, and is basically speaking to me every way she can without actually talking. I can't get a word in to her because bitch-blonde is between us and it's packed in the place, plus loud as fuck. Finally my friend shows back up and wants to hit up another place. More interesting shit happened to me at the other places, but I'll stop here and count that as my first ever, "approach".

Fresh out of high school I would go to clubs with my brother. We actually had the basics down, (Dress well, good cologne, good hygiene, etc.) but we just had no idea how to approach.

Well my first attempt in person (tried online several times beforehand) led me basically straight up insult a girl in college. I had crushed on her for months. Started when I was 17 (21 now). Had just converted to agnosticism after years of hardcore Christianity. I was ready to lose my virginity day 1 (had a real rough falling out with the church).

Idk why but they kept texting once in a while while I kept ignoring and just by the time I grew up and realized what was happening , the girls lost all interest and I became the guy who doesn't talk to girls , and one day while reading menshealth I realized that all those girls kept talking cuz they liked how I was always busy with stuff , I was literally shocked , I dug deep found seddit and have since got decent-ish . (Still real bad at text game but otherwise getting good )
