I'm definitely a Red Pill Woman, if you all are familiar. (Well I know on this sub you are!) My hubs was only only the second man I've ever been with and we've been together 11 years now and married 3. Traditional roles have worked really well for us and we've been super happy with him working full time and me taking on the odd job here and there but mostly being home. Our intimate life is really good too. A couple times a week and I normally like it but recently I've been I don't even know how to say, distracted or out of it sometimes? It's hard to get turned on and he's starting to notice.

I know stuff like sex goes up and down in frequency but this is the weird part, I'm thinking about another woman (but no it's not what you think!).

Last year hubby's company was purchased and the new owners moved another branch in with them. It was supposed to be a really good thing because they announced they were promoting people. Everyone thought my husband would be it, but the company pulled a BS move and brought a woman in from out of state. Apparently there weren't enough women in management here, and as was expected tensions went up. Hubs was stressed out, said it took a lot more effort to deal with and work around someone who was trying to compete with him all the time because she knew on some level she wasn't supposed to be there. He's been bringing home a lot more work stuff, saying she's trying to reinvent the wheel just because she can. Typical of someone with something they have to prove and all.

Okay, so like a month ago one of the office secretaries left suddenly with an emergency and they needed someone to fill in. I've done clerical stuff before and filled in before so I went ahead with it. Mostly, I work with my husband's new boss and the thing is she's really grown on me. At first I thought she was one of the secretaries too because she's classy and feminine, not like wandering around pretending to be a man in her position. But she's also really straightforward and logical, knows her job really well and most of the men except for my husband really like her. He says she's so focused on making their office do extra things that her work is all she's focused on, but she also has a fiancé I met right away who comes by for lunch or to pick her up most days. I'm also hearing rumors that she's had to have hubby redo work he's doing his own way. That's actually kind of an office joke. Hearing it was the first time I've ever felt awkward or embarrassed about my husband.

I trust my husband but when he talks about his boss suddenly I feel like asking "is she really all that bad?" She's been really nice to me. Now when we're getting intimate I can't help but think about this woman and the situation and I suddenly feel really upset and it's hard to get into it. How do I get this out of my head and back to normal??

tl;dr: I (29F) can't stop thinking about my husband's (36M) boss and it's affecting our sex life, help??
