First of all,someone who's focused on his career isn't gonna have much time to devote to a woman when he's in High School. So a lot of women end up dating losers.

Then,they just miss the adrenaline rush from an abusive relationship. So even if they find a good guy,they make it toxic because they miss the excitement from the previous unstable relationships

In many cases, this husband's behavior triggers the divorce. They are denounced as nice guys and it is not uncommon for women to feel disgust in those around them.

Dopamine. Women like adventure, and chaos/unpredictability is mildly exciting before it causes the crash and burn.

It’s becoming more prevalent I would guess because social media is designed to create a dopamine addiction in people, and so people eternally pursue what gives them dopamine without much thought or self reflection.

It’s crazy but when your on your punk shit, don’t give a damn crap about anything, women come and take you out and spend money on you. When you’re on your I take shit seriously and want a serious romantic relationship. Women hang out with you and associate with the status but that’s when they want the “what are we?” Crap.

I’ve seen plenty of women just get smashed by bros who ain’t shit besides having an erratic time and seen these same women say they are dating this guy for 9 months and not once has he ever met her 3 kids from another man.

I’ve seen that same woman with a serious well to do guy and within a week she’s having her boys come over to that man’s house so they can have a nice dinner together and that man’s showing them all sorts of things, from grilling and playing musical instruments.

Once the date is over the girl goes back to the dengen for the good time again of grouse with out the kids.

I think women are conflicted: their biology attracts them to the bad boys (possibly in the human equivalent of being attracted to the stag with the largest antlers as having desirable genes), but bad boys generally won't settle down and provide for the children women want.

I don't think that's true for all women.

However, I will say that confidence is sexy. If you act sure of yourself and give off the impression that people need you more than you need them, many people will just go along with it.

A lot of women have to learn at some point that confidence without cause can be a red flag.

A guy who is confident because he's really smart, or really good at a thing that society values is good. But some guys will give off the impression of confidence without much to back it up.

It's almost a mystery as to why they're act confident when objectively, they shouldn't be. It's the guy hanging out outside the gas station waiting for his buddy to give him a ride and loudly hitting on any woman who walks by. He might not be smart, or rich or even good looking, but he's out there shooting his shot without a hint of shame or anxiety.

Sometimes that unearned confidence is enough to make people go "Well, he certainly thinks he's amazing, maybe he's right and there's something going on I don't see."

That fake it till you make it advice isn't bullshit, if you act like you're worthwhile other people will treat you that way. If you act like you're pathetic, same thing.

Additionally, aside from the big show of confidence, those guys will often hit on women in overt and very direct ways. A lot of guys don't do that because they don't want to be seen as creeps or make women uncomfortable. Which... is usually good. So it can be a big change of pace when some dude is out there loudly talking about how hot the woman is and how good he's going to treat her. For a lot of women, that type of attention does make them uncomfortable, however, kind of like how online scammers intentionally use poor grammar and odd phrasing to weed out people who are smart enough to see the scam, some women do respond positively to crass pick up lines delivered with confidence.

That confident guy may get immediately shot down 90% of the time, but 9% of the time the woman giggles and appreciates the attention and .05% of the time they actually say yes. Tiny sliver of success is what urges the confident loser to keep trying. Sometimes it works.

I've had friends who dated guys who were clearly just looking to fuck. However... the thing was so was my friend. In one specific case I was talking to her about why she was with such a loud douchey guy. She basically said he was fun, he wasn't going to get attached and he was down to hook up whenever she wanted. She didn't want marriage and a family with him, she wanted to pound a tallboy then have him pound her.

its arousal, strong emotions, no matter if positive or negative, stimulate people, and men on average then to be more stimulated mostly by visual triggers, women too, but most also need emotional arousal, whether its about the emotions the guys trigger in them, or the emotions they rationalize after meeting a really good looking guy.

guys who are criminals or with strong dark triad traits tend to arouse more emotion, so they are more attractive to women, or at least to women with low enough standards to ignore bad behaviour in favor of a rush.
