I’m a guy and I’d be flattered if a girl came into me. I’d try catch him alone maybe after class just go straight and introduce your self. Give him your number. Compliment him. And carry on with your day. He will text you later for sure if not sooner. And then at least you have a direct conversation with him. Keep it short and sweet And that way you won’t get to nervous.

Honestly, I wish more girls asked guys out. I know socially it’s the guy who usually asks the girl out but it’s good in those cases for the girl to ask because who knows maybe the guy likes you too, but to answer your question I would walk up to him after and before class and say that you agreed on something that he said or that you liked his position and that you think it would be be nice if you two could talk about it outside of class. Form it in some manner like that. Or you could just walk up to him and say that but replace talking about the topic and just say “do you want to go out some time?” You would be surprised how many guys like a girl initiating conversation. Yeah, I honestly think you can just walk up to him after class, tell him you like his contributions to discussion, and ask him if he'd like to hang out sometime. I can't speak for other guys, but I would find that level of confidence and assertiveness in a woman super attractive. It's so rare for women to ask out men that even if he'd never noticed you before, he'd probably just give you his number out of confusion (this has literally happened to me before). Easier said than done, of course, but I say be direct.

You can start with that and say if he wants to study together sometime or say you need help studying and have a study group. If you're more courageous just saying you need help studying and let's have a study group and maybe we can grab boba/cafe afterward as a study break.

Open with any line. It's actually fine to compliment someone. "Oh, you look handsome today." "I like your X". If he responds well, with any verbals at all, you can let him know you'd like to hang out sometime. This may feel unnatural to your mind initially, but simply owning how you feel and owning your life is actually incredibly attractive.

Here is the truth: if for some reason he isn't interested, he won't resent you, or be mad. He will appreciate how direct and honest you were, and will walk around feeling complimented. If he acts like a jerk afterward, you'll know he wasn't worth your time anyway. If he is cool, but not interested, you can still say ok cool, well maybe we can be friends at least. I'm NAME and shake hands. Transition to a friendship frame. Or just thank him and say it was good meeting him.

As a woman, you HAVE to avoid him potentially rejecting you and you looking desperate. You do NOT ask him out - you give him your number to invite you out. I've done this before and it's worked well.

This is what you do - you strike up conversation with him and give him your number on a piece of paper and tell him to call you.

Boys aren't stupid. If he's interested he will call.

I did this when I was younger with a geeky but hot guy who liked movies. I was like ok call me on my number to discuss movies. He did call, and he asked me out and well you know 💀
