The only way I can see this as being good advice if it is poorly worded but meant to mean, "don't try too hard" or if it means, "always keep improving yourself".

I suspect it's just beta advice, but in the case of the first one, it goes back to "men take 20 minutes to get ready, women take 2 hours". It means be masculine and don't obsess over what a woman thinks of you.

In the case of the second one, it means, "there is always room to improve. Don't settle for a 6/10 if you think you are a 7/10. The only thing keeping you from being an 8/10 and holding onto 7/10 women might just be your lack of confidence."

Like I said though, it's probably just beta advice, but that doesn't mean TRP can't find a grain of truth in it and use that grain to positive effect.

One way is beta advice that your mother would give you: the girl is a shining star to be put on a pedestal.

The other was is a warning that an uncle or a grandfather would give you: if she's not making an effort for you, then she's not worth your investment.

I think the truth in this statement is similar to dread game...its just constant dread game. I think its very true. I have better luck with women who are hotter than me usually and i see this repeated everywhere. It can also partly be due to not wanting to be upstaged or have their appearance constantly devalued in the eyes of others and themselves.

Idk, probably different interpretations. One way is that girls generally care about their appearance more than guys, she wants to look pretty and she'll look worse if you're looking particularly awesome. Alternatively, you could interpret it as, don't settle for a girl below you. Alternatively again, you're going to look like a feminine little bitch if you dress up more than the girl your with.
