explanations:

ego / envy: if all you do is feed your ego and 'mire yourself, you're still a little man in a big man's world. you don't hate the hot couple in love, you hate yourself that you're not that much of a badass.
there's awesome shit to do and live and be out there. ur causin ur own depression., stfu and go get em
if you jerk off as your main pasttime, spend a shit ton of time on the internet, eat shit food, and drink a lot, u might be a self indulger/escapist

It's good that you're deciding to be proactive about your life and not just reactive, however, i think this sort of thing belongs more in /r/motivation. Not that i have a huge problem with it.

On a side note, I'd recommend you switch that from focusing on the negative to focusing on the positive. So instead something like "i will take control of my life, i will work everyday to improve" i know it's kind of small but it's said in self improvement circles that your brain funds ways to accomplish what you focus on, so if you associate with the negative it will say "This is who i am, so i will indulge" hope that makes sense.
