I think the key is to make your intentions clear from the beginning. I've often had luck by literally going up to them and saying "damn you're cute af". That's usually how I get one night stands. If I approach a girl as a friend I usually have something to say regarding where we are or what's happening around us. Like last time I made a friend I was at the library and some guy dressed in a crappy spiderman costume was reading to a group of kids. I stood there just staring at this guy because he was so cringy with his off the top theatrics. I glanced to my left and saw this girl staring as well. Walked up to her and said "ain't that creepy as hell". She laughed and noticed she was holding a book from a author I like. Friends ever since.

Girls don't want to be the one to take the lead. Remember you determine the dynamic of the relationship from the very beginning. If she's down, you'll know. If not, better luck next time. The point is to be honest and upfront with your intentions and never expect anything.

My friend, cold approach pickup does work. From what you're writing I can tell you just have severe inner game issues (depression? or maybe you identify as an incel? you don't have to answer, just my guesses, you know the truth). That, and most likely you just haven't figured out what works for you yet.

Take a short break from cold approaching attractive women. Work on your inner game (feelings of self worth) and on your fashion, grooming, fitness and posture.

Practice being friendly and fun in very small ways with everyone around you. Colleagues, classmates, shop attendants, servers, bus drivers, your family. Male and female. Everybody. You don't have to be in clown mode, you just have to smile at people, ask them pleasant questions about things, listen attentively, and don't waste their time (impose or respect time constraints).

If you can't be friendly and fun with people whom you're NOT sexually attracted to then you will never be anything but creepy to the attractive women that you approach.

“Indirect” is creepy. Probably what’s not working is that YOU know you want to get in her panties, SHE knows you want to get in her panties but you are likely approaching her with the vibe, words and intent that you’re not. This is not only confusing, disingenuous and reeks of lack of confidence and creepiness.

I'm sorry, but cold approaching absolutely can work, I've fucked dozens of girls that way, many other people all around the world also got laid by doing cold aproaching.

The problem is that you are unable to do it at the moment.

BTW On the other hand, while cold aproaching definitively can work, it's also not as easy as many people in the PUA community are presenting.

It can be very had to explain if you don't know it from real world, but avoiding being creepy is not about being direct or indirect, it's about "subcommunication", "energy", body language. If one does it right, one can be direct or indirect.

Cold approaching is stupid, even the top PUAs say they only have sex with 2% of the women they approach. Why would you want to deal with that much rejection & wasted time. You’re better off using tinder or approaching at parties where girls are more receptive.
