Go for it mate. When I went out solo for the first time I ended up having my first one night stand! A good tip for you is to start talking to people before you get to the pub/club. Be that a taxi driver or just saying hey to everyone that you walk past.

Then once you get in the bar you should be more warmed up and have realised nothing bad will happen if it goes wrong and you get experience. Just start approaching people and if you start thinking too much just say fuck it and start walking the rest will happen naturally.

A small tip, let her speak as long as she want too, people usually want to talk about themselves in almost all social settings, people like people that make them feel valued, listen to them , make them feel good about themselves, try to keep compliments to only sincere ones, if she looks good and you say it she will see you in a positive light since she already knows how she looks, no fake compliments.

If you do nothing else, at least do this: seek that which scares you. If you see a beautiful woman and you think you should approach her, and you get paralyzed and you don't do it. Do not beat yourself and think you're a failure. Look at the thing that is blocking you from approaching, look at what is happening in your mind, look at what you body is doing. Look at it, and try to stay calm and chill, and accept that that feeling is not something you have to avoid, or feel bad about, or demonize. That feeling, fear, anxiety, whatever you wanna call it, is your friend, is your teacher, it is something you have to, not reject, but to understand and learn to accept. Then, you will slowly be able to control it better.

So even if you go out and "do nothing", it was still not a waste of time, it was a way to expose your body and mind to the conditions that eventually must be under your grasp and control.

I don't know if that's useful, I hope that helps. What I don't think helps is to think low of yourself because you didn't do X or Y. You only fail if you stay at home and do nothing to improve.

You should approach people still, just don't game them. It can even be something as simple as asking someone for a lighter, and then making conversation from there. I do this even when I have a lighter

I know it seems very though right now, but once you get into the mood it’s actually not that hard to approach girls. Even if you fuck up big time(which is almost impossible) nobody is going to give a fuck. The girls you approach are not in your social circle so there is nothing to worry about, Try to atleast approach one girl and compliment her on some part of her outfit. I promise approaching will get much easier after that.
