Alright so I've fairly recently started the habit of approaching strangers. Today was the first time it was uncomfortably bad. Basically every other time, even if the girl is not interested she's usually impressed and flattered. This was material for r/cringe.

I sat down in a cafeteria near a girl who always sits by herself. And, well, I think there is a reason she's always by herself. She was brutal to talk to. She was very confused as to why a stranger was randomly talking to her.

For all the, "rejection is nbd" talk, I agree but this was pretty brutal. Because it was just so damn awkward and it completely threw me off, compounding this calamity of an approach.

But I guess my point of the post is that this is going to happen sometimes when you approach in random places. So few men do these kinds of things that some people don't know how to react. That's what I'm telling myself at least.
