I read the main introverted guide on here, but I'd like to check out some other ones to see if there's anything better. Before anyone says something like "introversion doesn't exist, I was introverted and now I'm social!". Yes, you can be social and be introverted. That's not what it means. Introversion just means you get drained more easily. And I'm a hardcore introvert. I can be social in a group for an hour, but after that I'm drained and fade out. I get drained easily in groups and for that reason, I don't associate myself in social circles. All my relationships with others are close and one-to-one. And that fits my life purpose as well. I've forced myself to go out 2-4 times a week to social events and I'd always end up burnout by the end of it and feel mentally unwell. I can't sustain a social circle unless it's two really close friends who I bring together, but those are close nurtured friendships brought together because of me, which is completely different. And in terms of being social, I have no issue speaking to strangers or working customer service. That's the easiest shit for me. That's why when someone says "I was an introvert, but now I can speak to strangers", I'm like that's not what it means dude. I've spoken to 1000s of strangers but I'm still trash in groups because of the social draining and it's much harder to hook in strangers than it is to hook in someone from a social circle, which makes game x10 harder for introverts. So with that clarified, I'd genuinely appreciate any sort of advice that's applicable to actual introverts. I'd also appreciate it if there's nothing related to online dating because I'm not improving as a person by using them.
