Plo1qwing basically means trying to stick in set during an interaction with a clearly uninterested girl and trying to make her interested with PUA techniques

I didnt know there was a "term" for it...but you described it perfectly!! Sometiems it feels like a huge amount of posts in this sub (and congrats to the mods for deleting a lot of them recently) are from.guys who clearly dont see the signs of disinterest! They miss social cues, they dont read body language, they ignore the girls actions...and they keep going on with the pickup attempt. It can be frustrating (as a girl)

As I see the thread developing I like 2sides are forming.

Those who attack plowing stating it's awkward and disgusting.

Those who defend it and state the benefits.

Since this subreddit is made to improve our game I think we should try to look at it from that angle. Though awkward and horrible to look at even those who attack "plowing" can't deny that the pressure of working a "plowing set" can really improve your social skills. Being able to win over a crowd that disliked your at the start is truly an amazing skill worthy to being developed.

I can encourage guys that are suffering from aa(approach anxiety) to plow a high volume of sets. The main goal of plowing in the beginning of your journey is to get some grounding. You start to understand some important basic things: rejection doesn't kill. There's more to game then looks(you'll realize how bad you are at starting conversation and how much improvement you can make). It's important to have fun. There is no golden way of starting a conversation.(a certain opener might work on one set and miserably fail in a second set.)

One important thing is to see the benefits of plowing, reap the harvest and continue. After plowing your way through 20-40sets you must accurately know your sticking points and the things you want to improve on. Then you'll have to take a step back and start researching. Open up magic bullets, talk over your sticky points with your friends, post your questions in this subreddit. Then with your new knowledge improve yourself the next time you go out sarging.

If you plow without improving you're making men look bad, and inducing a lot of discomfort in women and men alike.

Quick tip: plowing is great to improve, NOT to show off.

You're wrong here, probably due to lack of experience.

If you're only going to keep on gaming girls that are into you right away, you're limiting yourself and your results.
Most girls - especially during daygame - are confused when you start talking to them. Confused might not be the right term, but especially in my country it doesn't happen a lot that strangers just talk to you on the street. You are still a stranger to her and although she might think you're physically attractive and wants to talk to you, you put her on the spot by cold approaching that she doesn't know what to say right away.
Carrying the conversation in the beginning when the other party is still there but doesn't know what to say, shows good social skills.
Remember that although looks matter, they don't matter as much as you think. You need some time to show the girl who you are. To take your example: I remember when a girl once started talking to me, who I thought was not physically attractive to me at all. The more we talked, the more I realised her personality was very attractive.
You have to frame it differently. You frame it like this: "I was trying to pick her up and she didn't like me so I should go away". This is not good, especially during nightgame. Frame it differently. You are a cool, social guy that likes to make friends. You talk to people at parties. If you start talking to someone and they ignore you, don't introduce themselves, that shows bad social skills on their part.
To go a step further, and especially as a beginner this helped me a lot, was to take everything as a sign of interest. Only if she left or asked me to leave/end the conversation, that was a clear sign of desinterest and I respected that. But there were countless times where I kept plowing until I saw her crack a smile. And then I told her it was nice talking to her and left.

Meh. I agree that you should "use your instincts", but I don't see how that is equivalent to leaving a set in 10 seconds.

I see way too many guys eject from sets prematurely, even if the girl is interested, just because they're not sure what to say next, or because they feel a little bit awkward, or they doubt themselves and aren't sure if the girl likes them or not. A post like yours does NOT help.

Meanwhile, I've turned around girls who literally said "no" as the first thing to me - just because I was a little bit persistent. I think one of my FRs includes such an interaction.

From my experience with guys in the community, many of them need to hear "DO NOT EJECT", not "do not plow".

Girls are not the same. Guys rely much more more on purely physical looks alone, where girls are more complex and rely on a mix of looks, status, and personality (confidence, humor, etc.) ..this is why for example, female students are more likely to fall for their male professor, or a female secretary for their male boss, than vice-versa ... and this happens over time.. not in seconds

You should really be able to tell this within seconds. Use your instincts.

The problem is that new guys don't know the difference between real dis-interest and bitch shields or shit tests that girls will give guys.... here again girls are quite different.. most guys are not getting approached all the time and don't have bitch shields or give any shit tests...it's really not a part of their reality.. perhaps the PUA gurus should do a better job explaining the subtleties of this instead of just spouting off that when a girl shows dis-interest its just a shield...sometimes it is.. a lot of times it is not..
