I understand, everyone gets nervous. My boyfriend was very nervous at that start and we even knew each other. I honestly found it sweet, he’s gotten much better but still has his moments of shyness. I just laugh it off.

A little nervousness is cute. I take it as a huge compliment when I make a guy a little nervous. If you're a complete wreck however and it's just awkward then I'm uncomfortable and I wish I could get out of the situation.

Rather nervous than not approach at all.

Look at it this way: Would you rather deal with the short-term pain of nervousness, or the long-term pain of regret knowing you could have talked to a cute/hot girl and you didn't?

I would understand it because I can get nervous too. For example, sometimes I just swear more than I usually do, and I just don’t know how to stop it.

I honestly prefer it because it puts me more at ease. If a guy comes off overly confident or cocky it makes me feel like they haven’t actually put any thought into approaching me but if you are nervous, I’m more likely to believe you actually want to get to know me. This may be stupid but it’s always my initial impression.

Here's the thing. Women will tell you they are ok with that, but truth be told is that they want to see how they vibe with you and how they feel around you.

So if you are nervous, there's a chance she finds it sweet. But there's a higher chance of attraction if you are confident (not cocky).

So I guess they would understand, but if you want to stand out, you should be confident. And that means practice until it becomes second nature

BTW you can try saying "i'm really nervous about starting conversations with people i don't know." (don't say "approach" simce that's a PUA term that most girls know). But you might find she helps you be less nervous by leading the conversation until you calm down.

Depends on his looks, a ugly guy who’s nervous is a creep that they assume will rape them. If it’s a hot guy who’s nervous then it’s cute! He’s so innocent! I wanna turn him bad! 😈 👄 😘 whatever else emoji women overuse. The biggest issue is age/experience, see no woman wants to walk a man through what he’s “supposed” to know. There’s a bunch of confusion that goes deeper into this question but for now that’s the answer yes they do find it weird based on physical looks and no women don’t really care for “understanding” what a man has to go through.

Confidence is a must. They can see right through you. They are intuitive. They have senses just like us, but they are more geared towards the social aspects. It’s understandable. I’ve approached guys myself, with a red face, shaky voice, and all around awkward vibe so I know how it is. It takes guts to go up to someone you find attractive.
